1 tablespoon butter, softened
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives or onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon chopped pimientos, if desired
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls (8 Count) or 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Dough Sheet
1 tablespoon butter, melted
3/4 cup seasoned croutons, crushed

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. In medium bowl, mix cream cheese and 1 tablespoon softened butter; beat until smooth. Add chicken, chives, salt, pepper, milk and pimientos; mix well.
  • Separate or cut dough into 4 rectangles. If using crescent dough, firmly press perforations to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough to center of chicken mixture; twist firmly. Pinch edges to seal. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush tops of sandwiches with 1 tablespoon melted butter; sprinkle with crushed croutons.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.

2 chicken breasts , skin on
1 tbsp olive oil
200g new potato , thinly sliced
500ml chicken stock
200g pack of mixed spring vegetables (broccoli, peas, broad beans and sliced courgette)
2 tbsp crème fraîche
handful tarragon leaves, roughly chopped

Steps:

  • Fry the chicken in the oil in a wide pan for 5 mins on each side. Throw in the potatoes and stir to coat. Pour over the chicken stock, cover and simmer for 10 mins until the potatoes are almost cooked through.
  • Remove the lid and turn the heat to high. Boil the stock down until it just coats the bottom of the pan. Scatter the vegetables into the pan, cover again and cook the veg for about 3 mins.
  • Stir in the crème fraîche to make a creamy sauce, season with pepper and salt, if you want, then add the tarragon. Serve straight from the pan.

Shredded chicken and cream cheese enveloped in flaky crescent dough. These savory chicken squares are perfect on their own, or make it a meal and add it alongside a pasta dish. Either way, it is delicious. And, by the way, it's only three ingredients if you do not include the salt and pepper.

2-3 pieces of chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
2 cans of Pillsbury crescent rolls
1 block of cream cheese
1/2 tsp of salt
1 tsp of black pepper
*Optional- add a pinch of pepper flakes for some color and a little spice

Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Boil chicken until cooked through and then shred.
  • Add cream cheese, salt, and pepper to shredded chicken and give everything a good mix until well combined.
  • Open the crescent dough can and take apart the dough
  • Pinch two triangles together to make a rectangle. Add 1/4 cup of chicken and cream cheese mixture to the middle and fold the four corners into the center.
  • Repeat until you are done.
  • Baked for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let the chicken squares cool down for 10 minutes and then enjoy.

2 cups cooked chicken, cubed
salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon onion, chopped
8 ounces Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Blend butter with cream cheese Add milk and onion. Stir in chicken. Add salt and pepper.
  • Separate dinner rolls into four rectangles, pressing perforations to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup mixture into center of each rectangle. Fold over two opposite sides to meet in the middle forming a square. Press the other two edges together to seal.
  • Brush top with melted butter and dip into bread crumbs. Place on non stick cookie sheet crumb side up.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes until browned.

2 cups chicken broth
4 large eggs eggs, lightly beaten
1 celery rib, chopped
1 (4 ounce) jar diced pimientos, drained

¼ teaspoon poultry seasoning
3 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 cup cooked rice
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
⅓ cup butter or margarine
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine bread crumbs, broth, eggs, celery, pimientos, onion, salt and poultry seasoning. add the chicken and rice; mix well. Transfer to a greased 8-in. square baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 55-65 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.

1 garlic clove, minced
