SAM'S BULK FREEZER GROUND BEEF/HAMBURGER (OAMC)
I love to grab a bulk pack of hamburger and make this for quick and easy precooked bags of hamburger. Only needs to thaw from the freezer long enough to break up and get out of the bag. Because this makes so much I usually cook it 1/4-1/2 at a time. Cooking time is based on cooking it in 2 parts

Steps:
- Brown ground beef, garlic, basil and parsley until almost done.
- Add oatmeal and TVP, combine and cook until ground beef is no longer pink.
- Add veggies and stir occasionally until tender crisp.
- Cool to room temperature.
- Scoop 2-4 cups (depending on preference) into medium freezer bags.
- Freeze for up to 3 mths.

WINE & BLUE CHEESE HAMBURGERS (OAMC)
Called Different Hamburgers by Gloria Diggs who submitted it to a cookbook. I cut this out and had it in a folder. It has an interesting combo of ingredients that you put in a blender and then mix into the meat. They can be prepared, frozen and cooked when desired.

Steps:
- Combine all ingredients except the beef, in a blender and mix until liquid.
- Pour this over the meat in a bowl and mix until smooth and well blended (I think hands work best).
- Form into 4-6 patties
- Cook under broiler or in pan or on grill, or you want to freeze the patties for cooking another time.

NIF'S BREAKFAST TO GO (SANDWICH) OAMC
I wanted to come up with something for my boys to grab for breakfast when they are rushing to get to the school bus. These turned out really well and froze perfectly. The best part? My kids like them! The instructions are incredibly easy - the first step is long because I give options on how to cook the eggs. Enjoy!

- There are a few different ways that you can cook the eggs. I pierced each yolk, gently stirred each of them and used a plastic egg cooker in the microwave. OR you can lightly scramble each egg in a cup sprayed with cooking spray. OR you can lightly scramble each egg in a silicon muffin tin and bake them. OR you can lightly scramble each egg and cook in a tiny frying pan (I've seen them!). It's up to you how to cook them! You basically want them to end up being cooked through and slightly smaller than the size of the English muffin.
- While eggs are cooking, open each English muffin and lay them out.
- When the eggs are done, place each egg on the bottom half of the muffin.
- Add bacon to each muffin and top with cheese.
- Wrap each breakfast sandwich in plastic wrap. I placed the sandwiches in a large resealable bag and put them in the freezer.
- When cooking, placed wrapped sandwich in the microwave. Microwave on high for 30 to 45 seconds. Unwrap, turn over and cook on high for another 30 to 45 seconds.
- The cooking time varies on how frozen the sandwich is (fridge freezer or deep freezer) and the microwave.

GARDEN BURGERS FOR YOUR FREEZER - OAMC
For those of you those of you that have looked at the price in the freezer section or bought veggie burgers you know they cost far more than it takes to make them. This makes about 24 so you can freeze them and have them whenever you want! I would suggest making a smaller amount and adjusting the taste to your desire...these are good for me!

- Add 1 cup boiling water to the bulgur in a small bowl and let sit for about 1 hour.
- Steam the mushrooms for 10 minutes or until tender; then remove them from steamer; and replace with onion.
- Steam onions for 10 minutes or until pieces are translucent.
- Keep these separate and set aside.
- You can also microwave each one covered for 8 minutes.
- Use the water left over as part of the water for the oats below.
- Add 2 cups of water to the oats and let them soak for 10 minutes, until soft.
- Drain any excess water from bulgur and oats, then combine grains with mushrooms, rice, cheeses, flour, yeast and spices in blender or food processor and pulse 4-5 times until ingredients are chopped fine, but not pureed.
- Pour mixture into a bowl with the onion and cornstarch, and mix well.
- Preheat oven to 300F and set a large skillet over medium/low heat.
- Spray the skillet with spray.
- Measure 1/2 cup at a time of the mixture into the pan and shape with a spoon into a 3"-4" patty that is approximately 1/2" think.
- Cook the patties in batches for 2-4 minutes per side, or until light brown on the surface.
- When all of the patties have been cooked in skillet, arrange them on a lightly sprayed cooking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the oven.
- Be sure to turn them over halfway through the cooking time.
- Freeze when they have cooled.
- To serve: Can be reheated in pan; grilled; or microwaved for 30-35 seconds and then toasted.

Try serving these on fresh bread rolls with shredded carrot, lettuce, cucumber, satay sauce, sweet chilli sauce or wasabi mayonnaise and sprouts for a very healthy and delicious dinner.

- Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix until well combined - your hands will do the best job of this.
- Form into patties.
- At this step EITHER flash freeze by placing on a baking tray in the freezer until partially frozen and then packing into a plastic freezer bag to use at a later date OR cook over medium high heat in an oiled frying pan until cooked through.
- When defrosting, defrost in the fridge overnight and then continue to cook as above.

SAM'S HAMBURGERS (OAMC)
I have had these burgers dissapear right before my very eyes. Warning, they are hot, but youcan cut out the chilis and add something else. I mark this as a kid pleaser because my kids love them, but they may be too spicy for others. I never measure, so they turn out differently every time, but this is a rough estimate of them. Freeze them individually for 1 hour, then pack them into freezer bags for up to 2 mths. Thaw and BBQ them or fry on the stove top.
