1 ½ cups vegetable oil
1 (16 ounce) package saltine crackers

Steps:

  • Place ranch dressing mix and vegetable oil in a 2-gallon resealable bag; seal and shake until well combined. Add crackers and shake until crackers are fully coated. Set aside for 3 hours to allow crackers to absorb coating, shaking bag every 1/2 hour.

Steps:

  • Combine seasonings, dressing mix and oil and mix well.
  • Pour over crackers and stir well.
  • Bake at 200F for 15 minutes.
  • Stir and bake for another 5 minutes.
  • Store in airtight container.

  • Put both packages of crackers in a large bowl.
  • Combine all dry ingredients together.
  • Add vegetable oil to dry ingredients and whisk together.
  • Pour mix over crackers and mix well, making sure to coat all the crackers.
  • Cover and let stand for at least one hour.
