- In a bowl, stir together brown sugar, applesauce, cinnamon and ginger.
- Place roast in slow cooker. Pour applesauce over. Cook on low 4-6 hours, or high 2-3 hours.
CROCK POT SAVORY PORK ROAST
I make this all the time. It smells wonderful as it cooks all day. My family loves it. It's even better the next day. We usually don't have any leftovers or very little.

- Place roast and onion in crock pot sprayed with Pam.
- Add bay leaf, soy sauce and garlic powder.
- Cover. Cook on High 1 hour and then low 6 hours.
- Slice and Serve.

- Combine all dry seasonings and rub onto roast.
- Use olive oil to brown the roast.
- Deglaze pan with chicken broth.
- Place potatoes, carrots, and roast into crock pot and set to low for 6 hours.
