Pom Spritzer Food

P.O.M. SPRITZER

Steps:

• Peel pomelo and separate the fruit from the pith. Place fruit segments into a high performance blender (such as a Vitamix®). Blend on variable 1, quickly switching to variable 10. Blend for 1 minute.
• Peel mango, remove pit, and cut into slices. Add to the blender and blend for another minute.
• Cut oranges in half and squeeze juice into a small container. Strain to remove pulp, if desired, and pour juice into the blender. Add club soda and blend on high speed for 1 minute. Serve chilled.

SPRITZ COOKIES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
• In a small bowl, combine flour and salt.
• In a large bowl, cream butter; gradually add sugar.
• Blend in egg and almond extract; beat well.
• Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture.
• Press dough through cookie press onto ungreased baking sheet.
• Sprinkle with colored decorating sugar.
• Bake for 6 to 8 minutes.
• Cool on wire rack.

POMEGRANATE SPRITZER RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:

• Make the pomegranate molasses: In a small saucepan, stir together the pomegranate juice, sugar, and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until syrupy. Be careful not to burn the syrup. Remove the pot from the heat and let the pomegranate molasses cool completely before using. Any leftovers will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
• Make the cocktail: Add a few tablespoons of sugar to a small plate. Dip the rim of a champagne glass in the pomegranate molasses, then in the sugar to coat.
• Add ½ tablespoon of the pomegranate molasses to the bottom of the glass, then pour in the lemon juice and pomegranate juice. Fill the rest of the way with sparkling wine.
• Float the pomegranate seeds on the top of the cocktail and garnish with the rosemary sprig.
• Serve immediately.

POMEGRANATE SPRITZER RECIPE

Steps:

• Add pomegranate juice, sugar and water. (Add pomegranate seeds if you are so inclined) Pour into glasses filled with ice.
• Add additional sugar, or pomegranate juice to personal taste, sweetness and tartness.

SPARKLING POM SPRITZER

Steps:

• Bring sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan until sugar dissolves.
• Crush one container of Pomegranate Arils and add to the mixture.
• Combine mixture with pomegranate juice and sparkling wine.
• Garnish with Pomegranate Arils and a sprig of mint.

Steps:

• Serve over 1 cup ice.
