Steps:
- Mix the cabbage and green onions in a large bowl. In a small saucepan over medium heat, brown the almonds and sesame seeds in the butter.
- Combine the dressing ingredients in a small bowl and stir well. Just before serving, add the sesame seeds, almonds, and crushed raw ramen noodles to the cabbage and green onions. Pour the dressing, a little at a time, over the salad mix, then toss.
THE BEST CREAMY COLESLAW
We made our cool, crunchy slaw with just the right amount of tang from sour cream and vinegar. A bit of honey balances the acidity. This classic summer side dish would be welcome at any picnic or backyard BBQ.

- Toss together the cabbage and carrots in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, mustard, honey and celery salt in a medium bowl. Pour the dressing over the shredded vegetables and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Season with more salt and pepper before serving.
CRUNCHY RANCH SLAW

- Whisk together the mayo, dill, sugar, vinegar, mustard, garlic powder, pepper and salt in a large bowl.
- Remove the stem from the broccoli and slice thinly, then add to the bowl. Cut the crown of the broccoli into small florets and add to the bowl, along with the cabbage and fennel. Toss until the vegetables are evenly coated in the dressing. Garnish with the fennel fronds.
- Serve immediately or store refrigerated in an airtight container. This recipe tastes even better the next day!

- Heat the olive oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium heat. Add the peanuts and toast them for 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from the heat and set aside. In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the vinegar, sesame oil, honey, 1 teaspoon of the salt and 1/2 teaspoon of the black pepper. Put the cabbages, red onions, green onions and cilantro in a very large mixing bowl and season with the remaining black pepper and the cayenne. Add the dressing mixture and toss to distribute dressing evenly. Store in large plastic storage bags. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. CRUNCHY SLAW WITH SEARED TUNA AND HONEY-SESAME-GINGER SAUCE
Steps:
- Mix together the red and green cabbage, green onions, cilantro, carrots and bell pepper in a large bowl. Toss to combine.
- Rub the tuna with sunflower oil. Over medium-high heat, heat a large skillet. Add the tuna and cook 3 minutes per side to sear so that it is rare in the center and golden brown on the outside.
- Meanwhile, for the dressing, add the rice wine vinegar, garlic, ginger, toasted sesame oil, soy sauce, sriracha, honey and olive oil to a small bowl. Mix to combine. Drizzle on the salad and toss gently to combine. Plate on a platter.
- Slice the tuna into 1/2-inch slices and top the salad with the tuna. Sprinkle with the cashews, sunflower seeds and Aleppo pepper. Squeeze over a wedge of lime and serve the remaining lime wedges on the side.

- Add all remaining ingredients except peanuts; toss to coat. Cover.
