One 21-ounce can cherry pie filling
One 15-ounce can crushed pineapple
1 box white cake mix (18 ounces)
1 1/2 sticks (12 tablespoons) butter
1 large can peaches in syrup
1 box white cake mix (18 ounces)
1 1/2 sticks (12 tablespoons) butter
Whipped cream, for serving

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • For the cherry-pineapple dump cake: Dump the cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple into a 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Stir together. Sprinkle the cake mix over the top of the fruit. Slice the butter into tablespoons and distribute evenly over the surface of the cake mix.
  • For the peach dump cake: Dump the peaches into a 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the cake mix over the top of the fruit. Slice the butter into tablespoons and distribute evenly over the surface of the cake mix.
  • Bake until the tops are brown and bubbly, 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve with whipped cream.

Rhubarb dump cake is one of the easiest springtime desserts you can make, using cake mix and a handful of other SIMPLE ingredients in a few EASY steps!

4 cups sliced rhubarb
1 cup granulated sugar
1 box moist yellow cake mix
1 cup cold water
3/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease a 9x13 baking dish. Add the sliced rhubarb to the baking dish and spread to cover the bottom of the dish.
  • Pour the granulated sugar over the top of the sliced rhubarb.
  • Next, spread the box yellow cake mix over the top of the rhubarb and sugar.
  • Pour the water over the cake mix. Then, pour the melted butter over the cake mix.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 45-60 minutes or until the top is browned and a knife comes out clean from the center.

Nonstick cooking spray, for the baking dish
4 cups mixed berries (See Cook's Note)
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
One 15.25-ounce box vanilla cake mix
8 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into cubes
Vanilla ice cream, for serving

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9-inch square baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Combine the berries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice and vanilla in a medium bowl. Toss to coat the berries. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish, then spread the cake mix over the top in an even layer. Scatter the butter cubes over the top. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake until the top is puffed and golden and the fruit is bubbling, about 40 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for 5 minutes more.
  • Let the cake cool slightly before scooping and serving with vanilla ice cream.

3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
10 medium peaches, peeled and sliced (about 6 cups)
2 cups mixed blackberries, raspberries and blueberries
1 tablespoon lemon juice
TOPPING:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons grated orange zest
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
3 tablespoons cold butter
3/4 cup buttermilk
Vanilla ice cream, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, mix sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and cardamom. Add peaches, berries and lemon juice; toss to combine. Transfer to a 10-in. cast-iron or other ovenproof skillet., In a small bowl, whisk the first 6 topping ingredients; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add buttermilk; stir just until moistened. Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls over peach mixture., Bake, uncovered, until topping is golden brown, 40-45 minutes. Serve warm. If desired, top with vanilla ice cream.

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon zest

2-1/2 cups chopped peeled fresh peaches or frozen unsweetened sliced peaches, thawed and chopped
TOPPING:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons cold butter

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, nutmeg, lemon zest, salt, rhubarb and peaches. Transfer to a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. , In a small bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; sprinkle over fruit. 1 pound sliced frozen peaches (about 4 cups)
1 pint fresh blueberries (about 2 cups)
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Homemade Yellow Cake Mix or 1 (16-ounce) box store-bought yellow cake mix
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup pecans, chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter and flour a 13x9" baking dish. Arrange peaches and blueberries in a single layer in prepared dish. Top evenly with sugar and add vanilla. Shake pan gently to cover fruit with sugar. Sprinkle cake mix and cinnamon over fruit and shake gently again to combine. Dot evenly with 3/4 cup cubed butter and top with pecans. Bake cake until surface springs back to the touch and cake is set and golden brown, 40-45 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
