Steps:
- Cut the kernels off the corn. Pulse half the corn with the egg in a food processor; transfer to a medium bowl. Mix in the remaining corn, the flour, parmesan, basil, cornstarch, 1/2 teaspoon salt and some pepper. Coat a large skillet with oil and heat over medium heat. Cook spoonfuls until golden, 3 to 4 minutes per side.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Cut 5 squares of aluminum foil 1 1/2 times the size of the ears of corn; place each ear of corn in the center of a piece of foil.
- Stir mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, chili powder, ground black pepper, and fresh parsley together in a bowl until it forms a thick paste; rub about 2 tablespoons of the paste over each ear of corn. Wrap the aluminum foil around the corn and seal. Arrange corn on a baking sheet.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, turn, and continue baking another 10 minutes.

- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add milk, sugar, oil, salt and 4 cups flour. Beat on medium speed until smooth. Stir in cheese, tomatoes, basil, pepper sauce and enough remaining flour to form a soft dough (dough will be sticky)., Turn dough onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1-1/2 hours., Punch down dough. Divide in half and shape into loaves. Place in two greased 9x5-in. loaf pans. Cover with kitchen towels; let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour. Preheat oven to 375°., Bake until golden brown, 25-30 minutes. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool.

- Preheat the oven to 400°F Place a 9 or 10 inch cast-iron skillet in the oven for 5 minutes while you mix up the batter.
- Remove the skillet from the oven and add the butter; swirl it around to melt it and coat the inside completely. Then pour the rest of the butter into the batter. Stir until just combined. Pour the batter into the skillet.
- Bake until the top is golden and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, about 30 minutes.

- Preheat the oven to 400, grease the muffin pan or small round pan (8x8).
- Combine corn muffin mix, herbs, sugar, salt/pepper. Add the parmesan cheese. Add in the egg and milk as instructed on the box. Blend.
- Pour the batter into your desired pan, pop it in the oven. Wait for about 15 to 20 minutes (which is the wait for the golden brown color).
- You can serve it as is, or brush the top with melted butter, sprinkle with more Parmesan, and pop it under the broiler for about a minute for a yummy cheesy crust.

- Preheat oven to 400°F. Butter 9x9x2-inch metal baking pan. Whisk buttermilk, eggs, and basil in large bowl. Blend cornmeal and next 4 ingredients in processor 5 seconds. Add 1/2 cup butter; blend until coarse meal forms. Add corn kernels. Using 8 on/off turns, blend until kernels are coarsely chopped. Stir dry ingredients into buttermilk mixture; transfer to pan.
- Bake cornbread until golden on top and tester inserted into center comes out clean, about 45 minutes. Cool 20 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Butter a 9x9x2 inch baking pan.
- Melt 1 tablespoon butter in medium nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Add onion and saute until tender, about 10 minutes. Cool.
- Mix cornmeal with the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and baking soda in large bowl. Add 7 tablespoons butter and rub with fingertips until mixture resembles coarse meal.
