Time 15m

Yield 25 tablespoons, 25 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

1/2 cup brown mustard seeds
12 ounces dark beer
1 cup mustard powder
1/3 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Steps:

  • put mustard seeds and beer in a non-reactive bowl and let stand overnight.
  • pour into a food processor and pulse several time to break up the seeds. then run the processor until the seeds are ground up to the size you prefer(the bigger the seed pieces, the greater the heat).
  • add the rest of the ingredients to the food processor and blend completely, please note, this should be thicker than yellow mustaed, but not much. Store in a squeeze bottle in the refirgerator. Enjoy with grilled brats (family favorite).

  • Hot Dogs. Oh, the hot dog. Slathering up a hot dog with ketchup, mustard, relish, chili, and all your favorite fixings is simply a stadium classic. Instead, you can fire up the grill and try making your own at home.
  • Corn Dogs. OK, we know a corn dog is a hot dog that is just covered in batter, but still, it deserves a spot on this list. Get the recipe from The Baker Mama.
  • Soft Pretzels. Biting into a warm, soft, lightly salted pretzel as you cheer for your favorite team? Nothing better. Now, you can do that right from your own couch.
  • French Fries. If there is one item you will find on the menus of every food stand in a stadium, it's French fries. We're not mad at it! Fries are a classic stadium staple for a reason, as they're easy to eat in between all the cheering and standing up and down that tends to happen at games.
  • Chicken Fingers. What is the best food to pair along with those fries? Chicken fingers, of course. It doesn't matter how old you are, when you're in a stadium, there is nothing better than the great combo that is some chicken fingers and fries.
  • Nachos. Crunchy chips slathered in creamy cheese that you can just eat with your hands is part of the magic of nachos. Nothing like cheering for that touchdown or goal while you're chowing down on some of these.
  • Soft Serve Ice Cream. One of the best parts of going to a baseball stadium for a game is the fact that you often will see plenty of people enjoying some soft serve ice cream that is served up in little plastic helmets.
  • Churros. A churro is one of those sweet treats you don't see everywhere, and there is something about the sugary-goodness of one that you can get at a stadium.
  • Burgers. Treating yourself to a juicy burger when you're in a stadium is a must. Again, it's easy to hold in one hand as you hold a drink in the other that you sip on between bites.
  • Jumbo Popcorn. Those jumbo bags of popcorn at any sporting event are nothing short of iconic. You can whip up a batch yourself and why not pour some in bags to really give you the feeling that someone is tossing it to you as you eagerly wait in your seat?

STADIUM MUSTARD - WIKIPEDIA
Stadium Mustard is made with only brown mustard seed, has no preservatives, sugar, fat or fillers. It is a mildly spicy brown mustard more similar to European mustards than American deli-style brown mustards. Stadium Mustard is unique in that it is homogeneously brown in color, compared to traditional coarse-ground brown deli mustards, which are typically mottled in appearance and may feature both yellow and brown mustard seeds.
