2 fluid ounces gin
1 fluid ounce fresh orange juice

2 dashes grenadine
1 (3 inch) piece orange peel

Steps:

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in gin, orange juice, Pernod, and grenadine. Shake well and strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a twist of orange peel.

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 cup water
2 large tomatoes, diced
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup fruit chutney
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pot and saute onions and garlic until soft.
  • Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.
