Steps:
- Drain the liquid from all the cans of fruit. Thin the sour cream with whichever fruit juice you would like. Mix all the ingredients together with the thin sour cream.

- Place the cream and sugar into the bowl of a stand mixer with the whisk attachment and whip until stiff peaks are formed. Add the sour cream and whisk to combine. - Peel the oranges, taking care to remove all the white pith. Slice the oranges over a bowl or storage container so that you catch any juice, and add the slices to the bowl. Circular slices look prettiest, hold together best, and are easiest.
- Add the pineapple and coconut to the orange slices and gently toss. The ambrosia can be refrigerated up to two days, covered.
- When ready to serve, slice the banana and toss it with other fruits. Add the cherries last.
- Serve the ambrosia in your prettiest glass bowl. It will become a tradition.

Yes, there are many ambrosia recipes out there... I'm only posting mine here for safe keeping & for when I'm asked for the recipe after bringing it to a party/gathering... Don't get me wrong, it's very tasty & I'll mostly only prefer the taste of mine, so if you try it, I hope you enjoy it :-)

- I drain & quarter cherries first. Then drain & squeeze the crushed pineapple. Then I drain & add the remaining canned ingredients and stir in the pudding mix, sour cream & cool whip. I add the marshmallows last and stir them in gently.
- Chill then serve.
MOM'S AMBROSIA CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
These are the cookies my mom used to make and I haven't found a better recipe anywhere! I also like to mix in white chocolate chips or the Nestle swirled chips. Just make sure to put some of the swirled chips on top of each ball right before you cook them.

- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a small mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
- Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla and egg. Beat well.
- Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Mix well.
- Add chocolate chips. Mix well.
- Roll a heaping teaspoon of dough into a ball.
- Place each ball 2" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and place cookies on a cooling rack.
