Mixed Drinks With Watermelon Vodka Food

VODKA WATERMELON COCKTAILS

Steps:

• Add watermelon juice, vodka, lime juice, and your choice of sweetener syrup to a rocks or cocktail glass then stir to combine. Fill glass to the top with ice then serve with fresh mint and garnish with a lime wedge or watermelon wedge. Alternatively, you could add the ingredients into a shaker, fill it halfway up with ice, then shake to chill.
• If you like your drink fizzy, feel free to top it off with about 2 ounces of club soda or even Sprite.

LIME COCKTAIL WITH WATERMELON ICE CUBES

Steps:

• For the watermelon ice cubes: Puree the watermelon, honey and lime juice in a blender until smooth. Pour into a square ice cube tray. Freeze until firm, 3 to 4 hours.
• For the simple syrup: Combine the sugar and 3/4 cup water in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer and shut off the heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Cool.
• For the cocktails: Mix the vodka, lime juice, mint leaves and 2 ounces simple syrup in a pitcher filled with ice. Top with club soda. Put 3 watermelon cubes in each of 2 highball glasses and pour the cocktail over.

WATERMELON COCKTAILS

Steps:

• Combine the watermelon, lime juice and sugar to taste in a blender and blend until very smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a small pitcher. Stir in the tequila and orange liqueur if using.
• Fill 4 glasses with ice. Pour the cocktail into the glasses and garnish with watermelon and lime wedges.

WATERMELON-CHAMPAGNE COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Process the watermelon cubes in a blender on high until smooth. Using a fine sieve, strain out 2 cups of the watermelon juice to a large container and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
• Add the vodka, triple sec and lime juice to the chilled watermelon juice. Stir until well combined.
• When ready to serve, pour the drink into 4 Champagne flutes, leaving room at the top. Gently top off each flute with some Champagne.
