GINGER ALE APPLE DUMPLINGS W/SPLENDA

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Wash, peel, core and quarter apples.
- 2. Spray a 9X9 dish with nonstick cooking spray. Separate dough and wrap 2 pieces of the apples with one piece of dough. Then place into prepared dish. Repeat until all of the apples have been wrapped in the dough.
- 3. Melt the butter in a medium size bowl or measuring cup, then add the zero calorie sweetener and stir until it dissolves, then add in the vanilla Bean paste, and stir again.
- 4. Pour the butter mixture over the apples and along the sides. sprinkle each apple dumpling lightly with cinnamon.
- 5. Now pour the can of ginger ale over the apples and along the sides. Place in preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
- 6. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly and serve as desired with Ice Cream or plain. ENJOY THIS QUICK EASY AND SIMPLE DESSERT.
- 7. I made this great tasting recipe on yesterday and added pecans to add an additional texture and taste and they were delicious. Great with French Vanilla Ice Cream.

- Preheat oven to 375.
- Prepare an 8x8 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Separate roll dough into 8 triangles. Wrap a triangle of dough around each piece of apple, pinching dough together to seal.
- Place dumplings in baking dish, do not allow to touch.
- Sprinkle with sugar and pour butter over the top.
- Pour ginger ale around the edges and between the dumplings.
- Bake 35 minutes, uncovered, until rolls are golden brown.

- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles. Wrap each apple slice in one of the dough triangles and set in the greased baking dish.
- Whisk together the melted butter, ½ cup sugar and vanilla. Mixture will be grainy. Pour the butter mixture evenly over the top of the dough-wrapped apples.
- Pour the ginger beer or ginger ale around the edges of the pan.
- Whisk together the 1 ½ tablespoons of sugar and apple pie spice. Sprinkle evenly over the top of the dumplings.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the tops of the dumplings are golden and the syrup is bubbly. Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
- Store any leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.

- Preheat oven to 375°. For syrup, place 1 cup sugar, water, 3 tablespoons butter and ¼ teaspoon cinnamon in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes; remove from heat., Mix the remaining ½ cup sugar and ¼ teaspoon cinnamon. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to a 21x14-in. rectangle; cut into 6 squares. Also, the amount of honey used can be adjusted depending on consistency. This can be made WW friendly by using Reduced Fat Crescent Rolls, Splenda white and brown sugars, Imperial light margarine, and diet soda.
