CLASSIC PIMM'S AND LEMONADE RECIPE
Steps:
- Gather the ingredients.
- Fill a glass jug with ice.
- Mix the Pimm's with the chilled lemonade in the jug with ice. For a single serving, go with one part of Pimm's per three parts of lemonade.
- Lightly crush the mint in your hand to release the scent and oils, and add it to the Pimms along with the cucumber slices, orange slices, and strawberry quarters. The rule of thumb is to add 2 slices of cucumber to one of orange and strawberry, but add as much or as little as you'd like to achieve the fruity flavor of your liking.
- Stir with a long-handled spoon and serve in tall glasses with ice.

TRADITIONAL PIMM'S CUP (A.K.A.) PIMM'S AND GINGER
A favorite warm-weather drink, this is light, crisp, and refreshing. Excellent for guests as it's not too alcoholic. The story of Pimm's: Created by James Pimm in his 1820's Oyster Bar. Pimm began to market it ready-mixed in 1859, such was its popularity. It was taken as a digestive tonic, due to the high level of quinine and the mash of herbs involved in its production. Fashionable society began to drink Pimm's as a cocktail during the later part of the 19th century, partially for the alcoholic lift and partially because it was weak enough to be drunk all afternoon. Try serving it as a punch, with lemon and lime slices floating in the punch bowl.

PIMM'S COMMON CUP
This is Common Cup (a name I've made up) because apparently the true traditional pimm's should be topped with champagne. In reality, this is what you're much more likely to find in pubs in the summer.
