1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup
1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 pound ground beef
½ teaspoon monosodium glutamate (MSG)
½ teaspoon seasoned salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
4 hamburger buns, split
4 slices of Swiss-style processed cheese

Steps:

  • Mix golden mushroom soup, sliced mushrooms, and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan over low heat and simmer while you complete the remaining steps. Stir sauce occasionally.
  • Mix ground beef with monosodium glutamate, seasoned salt, and black pepper in a bowl; form 4 patties from the ground beef and pan-fry in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5 minutes per side.
  • Place each burger onto the bottom of a hamburger bun and top each with a slice Swiss-style processed cheese. Spoon 1 to 2 tablespoons of sauce over the cheese, place the bun tops onto the sandwiches, and serve.

1 tablespoon butter
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1 tablespoon mccormick grill mates hamburger seasoning
1/3 cup shredded swiss cheese
6 hamburger buns
6 lettuce leaves (optional)
6 tomatoes, slices (optional)
condiments (optional)

Steps:

  • Heat butter in nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and onion; cook and stir 4 minutes or until mushrooms have softened. Cool completely.
  • Mix ground beef and hamburger seasoning. Measure twelve (1/4 cup) portions of beef. Shape into thin 4-inch round patties. Place about 1 tablespoon each of the mushroom mixture and cheese in cente of each of 6 patties. Top with remaining hamburger patties, pinching edges to seal filling. If necessary, lightly flatten with spatula.
  • Grill over medium heat 4 to 6 mintes per side or until burgers are cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F).
  • Serve burgers on toasted rolls. Garnish with desired condiments and toppings.

1 (10 1/2 ounce) can Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup
1 (4 1/2 ounce) can Green Giant sliced mushrooms
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4 slices processed swiss cheese (no holes)
4 (1/4 lb) hamburger patty
1/2 teaspoon Accent seasoning
1/2 teaspoon Lawry's Seasoned Salt
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

Steps:

  • Mix the first three ingredients together, put on low heat and let simmer.
  • Mix the Accent, Lawry's and pepper together and put in a shaker.
  • Season the patties with this and fry or grill until done-dont press on the patties-you must resist this impulse!
  • Put patty onto a bun, then the swiss, then the sauce and you're done.

1/4 cup finely diced onion
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 cup soft breadcrumbs
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon salt

6 slices swiss cheese
12 slices dark rye bread, toasted

Steps:

  • Mix well the first 7 ingredients (meat through to pepper) and form into twelve 1/4-inch thick patties.
  • Melt the butter and saute the mushrooms lightly in it.
  • Place on 6 of the patties.
  • Top with remaining patties and seal edges.
  • Broil or grill to desired doneness.
  • Top with cheese.
  • Place each patty on a slice of toasted bread and top with another slice of toast.

1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
2 ounces mushrooms, finely chopped
1 small garlic clove, sliced
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
4 ounces 90% lean ground sirloin
1 scallion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 slice swiss cheese (1/2 ounce)
1 seeded hamburger bun, toasted
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 small romaine lettuce leaves
2 slices tomatoes (1/4 inches thick)

Steps:

  • Preheat broiler with oven rack about 6 inches from direct heat source.
  • Preheat oil in a small skillet set over medium heat. Add mushrooms, garlic and salt and cook until mushrooms have released their liquid and turned golden brown, 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  • In a medium bowl combine sirloin, scallion, soy sauce, pepper and cooled mushrooms and mix lightly.
  • Form into a patty and place on a broiler pan.
  • Broil until cooked to desired doneness, 3 minutes on each side for medium, and top with Swiss cheese while hot.

1 tablespoon butter
2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1/2-1 tablespoon mike's special seasoning, Mike's Special Seasoning
1/3 cup swiss cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Heat butter in nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms, onion, and garlic. Cook and stir for approximately 4 minutes until softened. Set to the side and let cool completely.
  • Mix ground beef and seasoning. Measure 12 1/4 cup portions of beef. Shape into thin 4 in round patties.
  • Place about 1 tbsp of each mushroom and cheese in the center of 6 patties. Place remaining patties on top of the patties and mixture; pinching edges to seal in filling. If necessary, lightly flatten with a spatula.
