8 ounces dry elbow macaroni
1 cup diced celery
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup finely diced green bell pepper
1/2 cup finely diced red bell pepper
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 -3 cups mayonnaise
1 ounce minced fresh dill
1 ounce minced fresh basil
1 tablespoon salt (or to your likeing)
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
1 lb baby shrimp

Steps:

  • Blanch pasta in boiling water for 9 minutes.
  • Rinse in cold water.
  • In a large bowl combine all other ingredients & toss with pasta.
  • Cover & chill for flavors to combine.
  • Stir well before serving.
  • Makes about 2 quarts. Prep. time does not include "chilling".

1 pound elbow macaroni
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
3 stalks celery, small diced (about 1 1/2 cups)
1/2 bunch green onions, greens parts only, sliced (about 1/2 cup), plus for garnish
5 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons whole-grain mustard
3 tablespoons bourbon whiskey
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 to 1 teaspoon liquid smoke

Steps:

  • In a large pot of heavily salted water, cook the macaroni according to package directions for al dente. Drain and add to a large bowl along with 2 tablespoons of the mayonnaise, and the celery and green onions. Toss well.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the remaining mayonnaise and the cider vinegar, mustard, bourbon, honey, salt, pepper and liquid smoke. Stir until smooth, then add to the macaroni. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
  • Refrigerate for 1 to 3 hours to allow the flavors to meld. Garnish with green onions before serving.

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add the macaroni and let it cook until al dente; drain well.

1 clove garlic
1 shallot, minced
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus 1 tablespoon
2 tablespoons sherry vinegar
1 1/2 packed cups basil leaves
Pinch red pepper flakes
1/2 lemon, juiced
Pinch kosher salt and cracked black pepper
10 (21 to 25) shrimp
2 bulbs fennel, thinly sliced
3 packed cups baby arugula
2 cups halved cherry tomatoes
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan

Steps:

  • In a food processor, pulse the garlic, shallots, 1/4 cup oil and sherry vinegar until well incorporated. Add the basil leaves, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Pulse to combine. Remove the mixture from the food processor and add it to a large bowl. Reserve a small amount of marinade in another bowl for finishing the shrimp. Toss the shrimp in the marinade and thread them onto skewers. Heat a grill pan to high and cook the skewers for 2 minutes on each side. Remove them from grill and add them to the bowl with the reserved marinade. Add the fennel, arugula and tomatoes. Toss lightly to evenly coat. Arrange the salad on serving plates and sprinkle with Parmesan.

1/4 cup French dressing
1/4 cup sliced green onion
4 ounces cheddar cheese, cubed

Steps:

  • Boil macaroni until tender.
