Lychee Ginger Martini Food

LYCHEE MARTINI

Steps:

• Place ice into a cocktail shaker. Pour in vodka, peach schnapps, cranberry juice, and lychee juice. Cover and shake vigorously until the outside of the cocktail shaker has frosted.
• Strain into a chilled martini glass; garnish with a lychee fruit.

LYCHEE MARTINI

Steps:

• In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add vodka, lychee juice and vermouth. Shake until chilled. Pour into 2 martini glasses and garnish with lychees.

LYCHEE MARTINI

Steps:

• Pour can of lychee fruit into a strainer. Reserve 2 tablespoons lychee juice.
• In a shaker, add crushed ice, lychee liqueur, vodka, lime juice and reserved lychee juice.
• Shake well. Pour mixture into chilled martini glasses over a few pieces of lychee fruit from can. Add a splash of Champagne and serve.

LYCHEE MARTINI

Steps:

• Pour the vodka, liqueur, syrup and vermouth into a large glass or jug. Fill up with ice then stir with a bar spoon until the outside of the container feels very cold. Strain into a martini or coupe glass and garnish with a lychee on a cocktail stick and a red or pink rose petal resting on top.

LYCHEE GINGER MARTINI

Steps:

• Rim glass with coarse sugar if desired.
• Place lychee puree, vodka, and triple sec in a shaker with ice.
• Shake until chilled and strain into a martini glass.
• Fill the martini glass with ginger beer.
• Garnish with an exotic fruit such as a lychee or a slice of starfruit.

PEAR AND GINGER MARTINI

Steps:

• Mix pear nectar, vodka, lemon juice, and ginger juice in a large pitcher.
• Add enough ice to fill pitcher and stir to chill.
• Pour into glasses and garnish with pear slices.

CRANBERRY-GINGER MARTINI

Steps:

• Put the ice in a shaker.
• Add the vodka, cranberry juice, and lime juice.
• Shake.
• Place the powdered ginger in a chilled martini glass.*.
• Add the vodka-cranberry mixture and top with the tonic.
• Place 1 cranberry, some candied ginger, and another cranberry on a toothpick or cocktail skewer.
• Place in the martini glass.
• *Use a light hand when sprinkling the powdered ginger into the glass, or it will overpower the drink.

GINGER MARTINI

Steps:

• Fill a cocktail shaker or small pitcher with ice.
• Add the vodka, ginger syrup, and lime juice.
• Cover and shake vigorously, or stir, until combined and chilled, about 30 seconds. (In general, by the time the shaker mists up the drink is ready.)
• Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
• Add twist and serve.
• Ginger Syrup:.
• Remove the outer peel of the lemon with a vegetable peeler, taking care not to include too much of the bitter white pith. Finely chop the lemon peel and ginger in a food processor.
• Transfer the lemon-ginger mixture to a medium saucepan, add the sugar and water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, partially covered, for 15 minutes. Strain the mixture and cool. Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week.

THE LYCHEE MARTINI - BETHENNY FRANKEL

Steps:

• Combine ice, vodka and lychee juice in cocktail shaker.
• Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass, add lychees for garnish.
• (Optional) Prior to making the drink, rim the glass with fresh ginger, and dip in colored sugar (available at Williams Sonoma, etc -- ).
