Quick and simple, keto and gluten free. Perfect Game Day snack! I like this recipe best with hot sausage for a little kick, but you can make it to your preference. Serve plain or with honey mustard.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 pound spicy ground pork sausage
½ (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
½ cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine sausage, cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, mustard, garlic powder, and salt in a large bowl. Mix gently until just combined. Roll heaping tablespoonfuls of the pork mixture into balls. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 30 to 35 minutes. Place on a paper towel-lined plate to soak up excess grease. Serve immediately.

These are a snap to make. I make them ahead and just pop a few in the microwave as I'm heading out the door!

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 lbs breakfast sausage
1 lb ground beef
1 lb cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup dried onion
3 eggs
salt
pepper

Steps:

  • I use Tennesse Pride HOT sausage for a little kick. You can use whichever you like.
  • Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and use your hands to mix them together. I add salt and pepper in moderation, more pepper than salt.
  • Once mix is all combined, form into 1 - 1 1/2 inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees, or until cheese has melted a bit out of the balls and onto the sheet.
  • Remove from sheet and drain. Makes about 50 balls.

Eating low carb could never be easier with this great make-ahead breakfast. Only 12 net grams of carbs in the coconut flour for the entire recipe, and the rest is virtually no carb. Usually makes 24, so 8 servings at 3 each.

1 lb bulk pork sausage
8 oz cheddar cheddar cheese, shredded
1 large egg
1/2 c coconut flour
dash(es) onion powder

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • 2. Let sausage sit out for 15 least 15 minutes to make mixing easier. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients with your hands.
  • 3. Roll into walnut-size balls and place on prepared pan. This should make exactly 24. Bake 20-25 minutes. Let cool on pan and serve warm or transfer to a large ziplock bag to refrigerate and microwave 3 at a time 1 minute to heat.
