I got this recipe from a nurse at work. We're always sharing easy and family-pleasing recipes. The sauce tastes like a creamy Alfredo sauce. This is great with noodles.

3 lbs chicken pieces
1 (2/3 ounce) package Italian salad dressing mix
4 tablespoons melted butter (divided)
1 small onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup chicken broth

Steps:

  • Place chicken pieces in crock pot and sprinkle Italian seasoning over chicken. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
  • Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  • Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a sauce pan and saute onion and garlic. Add Cream of Chicken Soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth. Stir until smooth.
  • Add this mixture to crock pot and cook on low for an additional hour.

2 pounds boneless chicken breast halves (about 4 to 6)
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt (or to taste)
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (or to taste)
1 clove garlic ( minced )
1 cup onions (chopped)
1/2 cup celery (chopped)
1 (10 1/2-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
8 ounces cream cheese (cut into cubes; may use reduced-fat version)
1/2 cup chicken stock (preferably unsalted or low sodium)

Steps:

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and arrange them in the crock pot.
  • Brush the chicken with the melted butter and sprinkle with salt, pepper, thyme, and garlic.
  • Add the onions and chopped celery to the pot.
  • In a bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and cream cheese. Pour over the chicken and vegetables.
  • Cover and cook on low for 5 to 7 hours.

5 chicken thighs
1 (2/3 ounce) package Italian salad dressing mix
4 tablespoons butter, melted and divided
1 small onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
10 1/2 ounces low-fat cream of chicken soup
8 ounces neufchatel cheese
1/2 cup chicken broth

Steps:

  • Place chicken thighs in crock pot.
  • Sprinkle chicken with Italian seasoning and then 2 tbsp of the melted butter.
  • Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  • Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons butter in sauce pan and saute the onion and garlic.
  • Add Cream of Chicken Soup, neufchatel cheese, and chicken broth.
  • Stir until it forms a smooth consistent sauce.
  • Pour sauce into crock pot and cook one more hour on low.

4 ounces process American cheese, cubed
1 (2 1/4 ounce) can sliced ripe olives, drained
1 (16 ounce) package fettuccine or 1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti

Steps:

  • Place the chicken in crock pot and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder and pepper.
  • Top with soup.
  • Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or until chicken juices run clear.
  • Stir in cheese and olives.
  • Cover and cook until cheese is melted.
  • Meanwhile, cook fettuccine according to package directions and drain.
  • Serve chicken on top of fettuccine.

1 (10 ounce) can Rotel Tomatoes (hot or mild)
1 (15 ounce) can corn kernels, do not drain
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 (1/2 ounce) package ranch dressing mix (.40 ounce dry packet)
1 tablespoon cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
hot cooked rice
flour tortilla
taco shell

Steps:

  • Put the chicken in the crock pot. Top with the tomatoes, corn,.

This is a great recipe that I have been making for years. It is very rich though, so don't make this recipe if you are looking for something light! I like to serve this with steamed rice (to kind of counterbalance the fat content of the chicken). Also, the cooking time listed here is for an older model Crock Pot. If you have a newer one you will want to cut back the cooking time.

1 frying chicken, cut up
2 tablespoons melted butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons dry Italian salad dressing
1 (10 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
6 ounces cream cheese, cut into cubes
1/2 cup sauterne white wine or 1/2 cup sherry wine
1 tablespoon chopped onion

Steps:

  • Brush chicken with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

This is a recipe that was derived from Miss Annie's Crock Pot Cream Cheese Chicken that I attempted to make but found that I didn't have exactly the right ingredients...Since my kids love ranch dressing, this version really "hit home" with them...(They were literally "licking their plates" after they were done!) I thank you so much, Miss Annie, for your inspiration for this "alternative ranch-flavored" recipe! :)

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 (1 ounce) package hidden valley ranch dressing mix
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1 dash paprika
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

Steps:

  • Wash and dry chicken breasts and place them evenly in crock pot. Sprinkle with paprika.
  • Sprinkle pkg. of Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing mix over chicken.
  • Drizzle chicken breasts with 1 tablespoons melted butter.
  • Cover and cook on Low for 4 hours.
  • Melt remaining 1 tablespoon butter in a medium saucepan along with minced garlic and saute slightly.
  • Add cream of chicken soup, the 8 oz. of cream cheese cubes, 1/2 cup chicken broth, dried Oregano and dried Parsley flakes. Stir on medium heat until smooth.
  • Add mixture to crock pot, cover again and continue to cook on low for 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours.

  • Lay chicken in 4 quart or larger crock pot.
  • Sprinkle with Italian dressing mix.
  • Sprinkle onions on top.
  • Press fresh garlic on top of all.
  • Cook on low for 4-5 hours at medium heat.
  • About 45 minutes before you're ready to eat, remove the chicken and set aside.
  • Add the cream cheese and soup to crock pot stirring occasionally until smooth.
  • While the cream cheese is melting, cut the chicken into bite sized pieces.
  • Once the cream cheese and soup are smooth, add cut up chicken back to the crock pot.

This is one of my favorite crock pot recipes. The sauce is rich and creamy, almost like an alfredo. It is perfect over pasta or even rice. Be sure to make extra bread sticks to dunk in this delicious sauce! I prefer a richer sauce, so I use cream cheese instead of sour cream. I like to dice up the chicken into bite-sized pieces, but it's good either way. Enjoy!
