HOMEMADE LEMONADE CHEX MIX RECIPE
WARNING: This Lemonade Chex Mix is dang addictive. And as soon as you see how easy it is to make and how easy it is to consume the little bite-sized pieces, you might find yourself eating one too many handfuls! Don't say I didn't warn you.

Steps:
- Pour cereal into a large bowl and then set aside.
- In a microwave safe container, add the white chocolate chips, butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Melt in the microwave for a minute, then stir. Keep melting for additional 30 second intervals until completely smooth when stirred.
- Pour melted mixture over cereal and gently stir until the cereal is evenly coated.
- Transfer the cereal into a gallon ziploc bag. Add the powdered sugar and shake, shake, shake your money maker.
- Serve it up & ENJOY!!

S'MORES CEREAL TREATS
Everybody's favorite campfire trio of graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows works perfectly as a portable treat.

- Grease a 1/2 dry measuring cup with butter and line a 12-cup muffin tray with cupcake liners. Or grease the inside of the cups as well if you're not using liners.
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add all but 1 cup of the marshmallows and cook, stirring occasionally, until the marshmallows melt completely, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and a pinch of salt. Add the cereal and stir with a rubber spatula, making sure to scrape up the bottom, until the cereal is completely coated. Let the filling cool off for a few minutes and then quickly fold in the reserved 1 cup marshmallows and the chocolate bars.
- Use the prepared measuring cup to scoop the mixture into the cups of the prepared muffin tray. Pat the domes together gently to help the treats hold their shape. Let sit at room temperature until firm, about 30 minutes.
- Store at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
CHICK CEREAL TREATS

- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted, then stir in the food coloring. Remove from the heat and stir in the cereal. Using oiled hands, form the mixture into 1/2-cup mounds, pressing until smooth. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet, press to flatten the bottoms and let cool.
- Using kitchen shears, cut the orange licorice into thirty-six 1/4- to 1/2-inch pieces. Cut the yellow licorice into twelve 1/4- to 1/2-inch pieces. Put the frosting in a small resealable plastic bag and snip a corner. Attach the orange licorice to the cereal treats for beaks and feet and the yellow licorice to the tops for feathers, using the frosting to adhere. Attach the chocolate candies for eyes, using the remaining frosting.
CHOCOLATE-PRETZEL CEREAL TREATS
Use chocolate cereal for these marshmallow-bound treats and stir in crushed pretzels. Drizzle with chocolate and chill before serving.

- Line a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with aluminum foil leaving a 2-inch overhang on the two short ends. Lightly coat the foil with butter.
- Melt the butter in a large pot set over medium heat. Add the marshmallows and cook, stirring occasionally, until the marshmallows melt, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and a pinch of salt and then the cereal and pretzels until well mixed. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and press into an even layer. - Lightly coat two 12-cup muffin pans and a rubber spatula with cooking spray. Sprinkle a few crushed freeze-dried strawberries into the bottom of each muffin cup; set aside.
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the honey, marshmallows, vanilla and salt; stir with the rubber spatula until completely melted. Add the cereal and the remaining crushed freeze-dried strawberries and stir until incorporated.
- Divide the mixture between the prepared muffin pans, firmly packing it in; let set, about 20 minutes. Gently pry out of the pans. Store in an airtight container up to 3 days.
TRIX TREATS
Variation on rice crispy treats, taken from the back of a Food Lion brand Trix knock-off cereal box. The lemonade really makes it different.

- Butter or spray a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
- Melt margarine in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add marshmallows, stirring constantly until melted. Remove from heat.
- Stir in drink mix.
- Quickly add cereal, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated.
- Pour into baking pan, cover with wax paper and press cereal mixture down firmly into pan.
- Allow to cool, remove wax paper and cut into squares.
- Enjoy!
