GRAHAM CRACKER JELL-O DESSERT
This is in request to 1970's jell-o recipes. My mother used to make this, and we just loved it with black cherry jell-o -- still do! (Prep time does not include chilling time.)

Steps:
- Prepare Jell-O as directed.
- Let Jell-O partially set, just enough to be able to spread.
- Cover bottom of 8 inch square dish with whole graham crackers.
- Mix sugar and sour cream until blended.
- Put half of sour cream mixture over graham crackers.
- Next spread partially set Jell-O over sour cream mixture.
- Place in refrigerator and let set until firm.
- Spread rest of sour cream mixture on top of Jell-O.
- Crush graham crackers and sprinkle on top.
- Keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.
- Cut into squares.

CHERRY GELATIN SUPREME

Steps:
- In a large saucepan, bring 1 cup water to a boil. Stir in cherry gelatin until dissolved. Add pie filling; mix well. Pour into an 11 x 7 x 2 inch dish. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
- In a saucepan, bring remaining water to a boil. Stir in lemon gelatin until dissolved. In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth. Beat in lemon gelatin and pineapple. Cover and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
- Fold in the marshmallows and whipped cream. Spoon over cherry layer; sprinkle with pecans. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
CHERRY SALAD SUPREME
This is more of a dessert than a salad. Jello salad meets cheesecake! Delicious! It gets raves wherever I take it.

- Dissolve raspberry jello in 1 c.
- boiling water; stir in pie filling.
- Chill until partially set.
- Dissolve lemon jello in 1 c.
- boling water.
- Beat together cream cheese and mayo; gradually add lemon jello.
- Stir in undrained pineapple.
- Fold in Cool Whip and marshmallows.
- Spread on top of the cherry layer in a 9" square pan.
- Top with nuts.
- Can double in a 9x13 pan.

ORANGE JELLO SURPRISE
A wonderful treat for dessert or an appetizer for dinner. I first had this at my mother-in-laws and loved it so much, I now make it for holidays! Very light and tasty!

Steps:
- Boil 2 cups of water and add to Jello till dissolved.
- In blender add Jello mixture to cream cheese, (let cream cheese soften 10-15 minutes). Blend Jello mixture and cream cheese together till combined.
- In separate bowl whip 2 packages of Dream Whip according to instructions on box.
- Fold Dream Whip mixture into Jello/cream cheese mixture.
- Add crushed pineapple and mix well.
- Pour into 9x13-inch baking dish and refrigerate overnight.

JELLO FILLED ORANGE CAKE SUPREME
I don't remember who gave me this recipe, but I've been making it for gatherings for quite a long time and everyone seems to love it. So I thought I would share it, it's pretty easy.

- Use a 9x13 cake pan.
- Bake the cake according to pkg. directions. Do not overbake !
- Cool cake slightly on cooling rack. Meanwhile prepare.
- jello according to pkg. directions. Poke holes all over cake with.
- a wooden skewer or a fork. Pour liquid jello mixture over cake and.
- allow to soak into cake. Chill.
- Cream together, butter and cream cheese. Add confectioners sugar a little at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add orange extract and mix well. Frost cake and enjoy.
- Store leftovers in refrigerator.

JELLO SUPREME
Considered a salad or dessert, great for potlucks or holiday dinners. Prep time minimal and easy to make.

- -------Layer1-------------.
- Dissolve the cherry Jello in 1 cup of hot water.
- Pour in a 9x12 pan and mix in the can of cherry pie filling.
- Put in refrigerator to set.
- -------Layer2------------.
- Dissolve the lime Jello in 1 cup of hot water.
- Add in the cream cheese and mix with a mixer till the cream cheese is in small bits.
- (Don't totally dissolve cheese) Add in the crushed pineapple.
- This layer can stay in the bowl, but put in the fridge to cool.
- (Don't leave in the bowl till set) The first layer should not take long to set.
- When set, add layer 2 and top with marshmallows (kind of pat them in).
- Put back in fridge to set.
- This is considered a salad or dessert.
- Great for any potluck or holiday dinner.
