Go big with this layered taco dip recipe - it is the perfect appetizer for large crowds.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
8 ounce jar taco sauce, medium or hot
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
16 ounces sour cream
1.25 ounce package taco seasoning
16 ounce can fat free refried beans
1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
2 ounce can sliced black olives, drained
2 green onions, diced

Steps:

Brown the ground beef in a large pan. Drain the fat and add the taco sauce. Mix well and set aside.
In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the sour cream and taco seasoning. Mix until well combined.
In a 3 quart dish, begin layering in this order - refried beans, cream cheese/sour cream mixture, ground beef, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives and green onions.
Chill for 30 minutes prior to serving.

1 can Refried Beans
2 cups Sour Cream
1 Taco Seasoning Packet
1 jar of Salsa
3 Avocados
2 cups Shredded Lettuce (they sell it already shredded!)
2 cups Shredded Mexican Cheese
3-4 Tomatoes
*I used a 9x13 glass dish

Steps:

Spread the refried beans evenly in the dish.
In a bowl, mix the taco seasoning and the sour cream, and spread it over the refried beans.
Spread the salsa over the sour cream.
Half, pit, and scoop the avocados into a bowl. Mash with a potato masher. Then spread over the sour cream.
Continue layering the lettuce, Mexican cheese, and finally the tomatoes. Chill for at least an hour before serving.

2 medium ripe avocados, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 tablespoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 cup sour cream
1 can (4-1/4 ounces) chopped ripe olives, drained
1 jar (16 ounces) thick and chunky salsa, drained
2 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Tortilla chips

Steps:

In a large bowl, mash the avocados with lemon juice, garlic salt and hot pepper sauce. Spoon into a deep-dish 10-in. pie plate or serving bowl. Layer with sour cream, olives, salsa, tomatoes and cheese. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve with chips.

1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
1 large tomato, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 bunch chopped green onions
1 small head iceberg lettuce, shredded
1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

In a medium bowl, blend the taco seasoning mix and refried beans. Spread the mixture onto a large serving platter.
Mix the sour cream and cream cheese in a medium bowl. Spread over the refried beans.
Top the layers with salsa. Place a layer of tomato, green bell pepper, green onions and lettuce over the salsa, and top with Cheddar cheese. Garnish with black olives.
