Island Punch Food

ISLAND FRUIT PUNCH

Steps:

• Chill all of the ingredients.
• You can even freeze the pineapple and banana in chunks if you like.
• Place all of the ingredients into a blender.
• Blend until smooth.
• Looks great in tall glasses, garnished with orange slices.
• For a more colourful effect pour a little grenadine down the side before serving.

FLOATING ISLAND PUNCH

Steps:

• Bring water to a boil. Add the sugar and boil until it becomes a syrup. Let cool.
• In a punch bowl combine lemonade, orange juice, ginger ale, and carbonated water. Mix in the sugar syrup. Add ice and sherbet.
• Just before serving add cherries and cherry juice and float orange slices on top.

ISLAND PUNCH

Steps:

THE BIG ISLAND PUNCH

Steps:

• To build the punch: In a shaker, combine the spirits and juices. Shake well, and then pour over ice in a tall island-style glass. Float the spiced rum and grenadine on top.
• Garnish with the lime and orange wheels and the pineapple wedge.

ISLAND RUM PUNCH

Steps:

• In a short cocktail glass, mix together rum, lime juice, sugar, and water. Add ice cubes and stir. Adjust amount of lime and sugar to taste. Rum is a liquor made from sugar cane juice, fermented and distilled. It is common in the West Indies, when you order a simple punch, to be served a tray bearing icefilled glasses, a bottle of rum, some cutup limes, and a bowl of raw sugar. Everyone makes his or her own cocktail to taste.

SEA ISLAND BOURBON PUNCH

Steps:

• In a large punch bowl or pitcher, mix together the bourbon, soda water, ginger ale, sugar, maraschino cherry juice, cinnamon, and the lemon and orange peels and juice.
• Serve over ice, with a cherry, piece of candied finger and a sprig of mint.

ISLAND RUM PUNCH

Steps:

• Stir together all ingredients except nutmeg in a pitcher. Serve over ice, sprinkled with a bit of nutmeg.

BORIQUA ISLAND PUNCH

Steps:

• Combine the coarse coconut meat puree or cream and coconut milk, with pineapple, lime, Tamarindo juices along with 5 ice cubes in the electric blender and blend at high speed for a minute.
• Add the 2 rums and liqueur.
• Serve.

AMELIA ISLAND PUNCH

Steps:

• Add water to drink mix in punch bowl; stir until mix is dissolved.
• Stir in juice.
• Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.
