3 to 4 peeled seedless cucumber slices
2 shiso leaves plus 1 for garnish
1 1/2 ounces dry sake
1 1/2 ounces vodka
1/2 ounce lime juice
1/2 ounce simple syrup

Steps:

  • Muddle cucumber and shiso leaves at bottom of cocktail shaker. Add remaining ingredients, shake well with ice and strain into chilled cocktail coupe or martini glass. Garnish with shiso leaf.

Splash sour mix
Splash cranberry juice
Splash lime juice

Steps:

  • Pour all the ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake it vigorously and pour into a chilled martini glass. Serve with a slice of cucumber. This drink is best for hot summer days at the sushi bar or poolside.

  • Squeeze the lime juice into a martini shaker. Add ice 2/3rds of the way up the shaker. Add lychee infused sake. Shake vigorously. Place a lychee fruit in a martini glass.
  • Strain the cocktail into the glass. Pour the pomegranate juice gently into the martini glass for a floating effect.

8 slices lemon twists
8 small slice crystallized ginger

Steps:

  • Add ginger to the bottled sake and refrigerate overnight.
  • Fill a martini shaker halfway with ice. Add 1 cup ginger-infused sake and shake until well chilled.
  • Strain sake into 4 martini glasses; stir in 3 tablespoons ginger ale per glass. Repeat to make 8 drinks.
  • Garnish each glass with a lemon twist and a strip of crystallized ginger on each rim.

  • Shake to combine.
  • Strain into the chilled glasses and garnish with a lychee nut dropped in each glass.
