Steps:
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, half-and-half, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Dunk each bread slice into the mixture so that it's fully coated. Set pieces aside on a plate.
- Heat a large nonstick skillet over low heat, then melt a small amount of butter. Add as many pieces as will fit, cut side down, then increase the heat very slightly (don't go above medium-low).
- Allow the toast to cook on the first side for 3 to 4 minutes. Move it around in the skillet a bit to make sure it doesn't burn. When it's deep golden brown on the surface, flip it to the other side and let it cook for another 2 minutes or so.
- Remove from the pan and cook the rest of the bread slices.
- Serve with butter, warm syrup, strawberries, and whipped cream. Absolute heaven!

Steps:
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, vanilla and cinnamon. Lay the brioche slices in a single layer in a shallow dish and pour the egg mixture over them. Allow to soak for 2-3 mins, then carefully turn over and soak for 2 mins more.
- Heat 1 tbsp of the vegetable oil and butter in a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat until foaming. Carefully lift 2 slices of the soaked brioche out of the dish and add to the frying pan. Fry for 3 mins on each side, until golden and crisp, then place on a wire rack over a baking tray in a warm oven while you repeat with the remaining slices.
- Serve dusted in icing sugar and scattered with fresh berries, if you like.

DECADENT FRENCH TOAST
This is the best french toast I have ever eaten. You make it at night before going to bed, the next morning; pop it in the oven.

Steps:
- Spray a 13x9 baking dish liberally with cooking spray.
- Mix brown sugar, butter, & corn syrup (add a touch of cinnamon) in a saucepan and cook until bubbly. Pour into baking dish. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
- Slice French bread, layer in pan.
- Mix well in a bowl; eggs, milk and cinnamon. Pour over bread. Make sure to get some of the milk mixture on each slice.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 30 45 minutes. Invert on to serving platter or another baking dish. Enjoy!
- ***I add cinnamon to taste. I use between a teaspoon & a tablespoon for the whole recipe. I dont measure, just shake. I also cut French bread slices in half and put cut side down. You can also serve this with whipped cream & strawberries. I prefer warm syrup. I like to invert onto something I can put into the oven to help everything to set-up better & keep it warm so I can get everything else done.
