HONEY TERIYAKI MARINADE FOR BBQ CHICKEN
My personal favourite recipe for barbecued chicken. I often serve chicken done this way with the rice from my Pork Chop Casserole (Recipe#174464). This recipe is enough to marinate 8 boneless skinless chicken breasts. (Cooking time is marinating and bbq-ing time)

Steps:
- Mix all ingredients and pour over chicken in marinating dish or sealable plastic bag.
- Let chicken marinate for 6-8 hours for best results.

HONEY TERIYAKI MARINADE
Threw this together last night for some salmon fillets but i can't see why this wouldn't be great on chicken. Cook time is marinating time.

HONEY TERIYAKI SAUCE FOR GRILLED MEATS
This sauce is just wonderful poured over grilled chicken, salmon, pork chops or steaks... I like to grill chicken breasts and then serve the breasts on a platter of cooked rice and this sauce drizzled on top, then topped with green onions, and sesame seeds.... This teriyaki sauce will have you "licking you plate clean" it is THAT good!

Steps:
- In a medium saucepan, heat oil.
- Add in garlic and ginger; saute for about 30 seconds.
- Add in soy sauce, vinegar, honey, brown sugar and sesame oil; cook and stir over medium heat until sauce is bubbly, and the sugar has melted (should take about 3-4 minutes).
- Add in the green onions juice of one orange and the cornstarch (mixed with 1 tbsp cold water); whisk until the sauce has thickened and is "glistening".
- Remove from heat.
- Pour/drizzle over grilled meats or poultry.
- Garnish with more green onions and sesame seeds.

- In a large resealable plastic bag, mix the teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic powder, and ginger. Place red bell peppers, onion wedges, mushrooms, beef, and chicken in the bag with the marinade. Seal, and refrigerate 4 to 24 hours.
- Preheat grill for medium-high heat.
- Discard marinade, and thread the meat and vegetables onto skewers, leaving a small space between each item.
- Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill skewers for 10 minutes, turning as needed, or until meat is cooked through and vegetables are tender.

Steps:
- Combine soy sauce, honey, sugar, rice vinegar and pineapple juice in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- Slowly stir the mixture and gently pour in the corn syrup, corn starch, sesame seed oil and Mirin wine.
- Add all seasonings including garlic, chili pepper, black pepper, ginger, cilantro and crushed red pepper to the liquid mixuture.
- Blend the mixture with a whisk to mix evenly for several minutes, or until the cornstarch is incorporated completly into the mixture.
- Allow sauce to set for about 30 minutes prior to serving, or using in cooking.

- Mix mustard and teriyaki sauce in shallow dish until blended. Reserve 1/3 cup mustard mixture for later use.
- Add chicken to remaining mustard mixture; turn to evenly coat both sides of chicken.
- Refrigerate 2 hours, turning after 1 hour.
- Heat grill to medium heat. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Grill chicken 6 to 8 min. on each side or until done (165ºF), brushing frequently with reserved mustard mixture for the last few minutes.
