This is a sweet cheese ball -- a great variation of the traditional cheese balls. Cooking time is chilling time.

Ingredients

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
8 ounces crushed pineapple, drained
1/4 cup celery, diced
1/4 cup green pepper, diced
1/4 cup red pepper, diced
1/4 cup green onion, finely chopped
1 cup pecans, chopped

Steps:

Cream the cream cheese and add the other ingredients.
Shape into ball and roll in pecans.
Chill.
Serve with crackers.

This is the perfect appetizer! It so simple to make and alot of folks keep these ingredients on hand.

Ingredients

16 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1/2 c green pepper, chopped fine
1/3 c red onion, chopped
15 oz crushed pineapple, drained well
1 1/2 tsp horseradish (more if you want it spicy)
1/2 c parsley flakes
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 c pecans, toasted & chopped fine

Steps:

1. Mix all of the ingredients except pecans and parsley flakes. Form into a ball. On wax paper, roll the cheese ball over the mixed pecans and parsley flakes to make a coating of pecans and parsley flakes on the outside of the ball. Chill and serve with your favorite party crackers. If refrigerated, it will stay fresh up to 3 to 4 days.

1 Tbsp diced onion
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
Chopped pecans

Steps:

Mix cream cheese, green pepper, onion and pineapple together.
Make into ball and roll into pecans.
Refrigerate overnight.
