I threw this recipe together from various other recipes. I am new to baking, but this bread is the best I have made yet! It is absolutely delicious and I urge you to try it!

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 ¼ cups white sugar
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
¾ teaspoon baking soda
¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 ⅓ cups mashed bananas
⅔ cup canola oil
⅔ cup crushed pineapple, drained
⅔ cup flaked coconut
¼ cup chopped walnuts
¼ cup chopped macadamia nuts
2 eggs, well beaten
4 teaspoons applesauce
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon extract
½ teaspoon coconut extract
2 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
¼ cup white sugar
¼ cup chopped walnuts
¼ cup chopped macadamia nuts
1 teaspoon milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Mix flour, 1 1/4 cup white sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Stir mashed banana, canola oil, pineapple, flaked coconut, 1/4 cup walnuts, 1/4 cup macadamia nuts, eggs, applesauce, vanilla extract, lemon extract, and coconut extract into flour mixture until blended. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean, 70 to 80 minutes. Cool bread in the pan for 10 minutes; remove and transfer to a wire rack to cool, 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Mix butter, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup walnuts, 1/4 cup macadamia nuts, and milk together in a bowl. Spread on top of bread once it has been transferred to the wire rack.

1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 eggs
1 cup oil

1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2-1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Add sugar,eggs and oil in large mixing bowl and blend well.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients except for the nuts and blend well with electric mixer.
  • Stir in nuts.
  • Bake in a preheated oven of 350 degrees.
  • Place in oven and bake for approximately 60-70 minutes or until done.

Sounds odd, I know, but the bread really doesn't turn out the same without doing that. It's like magic! :) This freezes very well.

2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup margarine
6 very ripe bananas, mashed
4 eggs, well beaten
2 1/2 cups cake flour
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenheit.
  • Cream sugar and margarine.
  • Add bananas and eggs.
  • Sift cake flour, salt, and baking soda 3 times.
  • Blend flour mixture into banana mixture, making sure not to overmix.
  • Turn batter into 2 greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pans.
  • Bake for 55 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center of loaf comes out clean.

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together. Pour in 2 greased bread pans.
  • Bake on 350 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, cool in pan 10 minutes, remove from pans and cool on racks.

1 ¼ cups coconut flour
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup xylitol
1 cup coconut sugar
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed meal
2 teaspoons baking soda

1 cup unsalted sweet cream butter, softened at room temperature
½ cup coconut milk

1 cup Domino® or C&H® Pure Cane Granulated Sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed ripe banana (about 2 to 3 medium)

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts, toasted
2 tablespoons candied or crystallized ginger, optional

Steps:

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beating well after each addition. Stir in bananas and sour cream. 6 tablespoons butter, room temperature
1/3 cup sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
1 1/2 cups bananas, mashed
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts

Steps:

  • In an electric mixer with the flat beater (or by hand) cream butter and sugar, then add the eggs, then the banana.
  • With the mixer still running, add 1 cup flour, then the baking soda, the baking powder, the salt, and the vanilla. Add the remaining 0.5 cup flour and the chopped nuts.
  • Continue to mix until ingredients are blended. Do not over-mix.

1 jar (3 1/2 ounces) macadamia nuts, chopped and toasted

Steps:

  • Move oven rack to lowest position. Heat oven to 350°F . Grease bottoms only of 2 loaf pans, 8 1/2x4 1/2x2 1/2 inches, or 1 loaf pan, 9x5x3 inches.
  • Stir together sugar and butter in large bowl. Stir in eggs until well blended. Add bananas, buttermilk and vanilla. Beat with wire whisk until smooth. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt just until moistened. Stir in nuts and coconut. Pour into pans.
