4 fully cooked boneless ham steaks (5 ounces each)
1/2 cup apricot preserves
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Dash salt

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Cook ham on both sides until lightly browned and heated through. Remove from pan; keep warm., Add 1 tablespoon butter and remaining ingredients to pan; cook and stir over medium heat until blended and heated through. Serve over ham.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 to 2 skirt steaks;
2 tbsp. Cajun spice;
1/4 cup coconut oil;
1/4 cup apricot preserves;
1/3 cup orange juice;
1/4 cup coconut aminos;

Steps:

  • Combine the coconut oil, apricot preserves, orange juice, coconut aminos, and 1 tbsp. of Cajun spice in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a light boil and simmer 8 to 10 minutes. Pulse the apricot sauce with an immersion blender until smooth and set aside. Preheat grill to high heat. Season the steak with the remaining Cajun spice. Brush the steaks with the apricot sauce. Grill the steaks on the preheated grill 6 to 8 minutes per side. Let the steak rest 2 to 3 minutes; serve with remaining apricot glaze.

2 teaspoons stone-ground mustard
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
Freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Combine the apricot jam, mustard, vinegar and lots of black pepper in the jam jar or a mason jar. Shake until well blended.
  • Use the glaze like you would a BBQ sauce. Brush on or pour over pieces of grilled or pan-seared chicken, pork chop or salmon just before it's done cooking and let cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
