1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Eight 1/2-inch bone-in pork chops (about 3 ounces each)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Begin by making the marinade. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, oil, vinegar, cumin and red pepper flakes. Easy, right?
  • Sprinkle both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper and place in a re-sealable plastic bag with the marinade. Let rest on the counter for 1 hour. That's easy.
  • Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Remove the pork chops from the bag and lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place on the grill and cook until the pork chop releases from the grill, about 4 minutes. Flip and cook on the other side for another 3 minutes. If using a grill pan, be sure to do in batches so you don't steam the chops. And don't worry if you have neither; you can do this in a pan. See, easy!

There is a restaurant near us in the neighboring state of Indiana, that serves their pork chops this thick, and we had them cater our Family Reunion one year, and ever since then my husband has been hooked on Grilled...

4 loin center cut pork chops cut 1 1/2 inch thick
1 Tbsp granulated garlic powder
2 tsp coarse grated black pepper
2 tsp lemon pepper( no salt added)
2 tsp granulated onion powder
2 tsp paprika
1 Tbsp kosher salt
1 1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 1/2 tsp cumin
1/3 c olive oil or canola oil (approximately)

Steps:

  • 1. Combine all spices in a small bowl,and stir to mix. Then rub oil on both sides of the pork chops, and coat evenly with the spice mixture. Place in a large zip lock bag, and allow to marinate in fridge for at least 45 minutes to an hour.
  • 2. Remove pork chops from fridge, and allow to come to room temperature. Brush & Preheat griddle with oil or non stick cooking spray till hot but not smoking. Then carefully place pork chops on grill or grill skillet and allow to cook about 5 or 6 minutes per side. Rotate one quarter turn about half way through cooking each side to create grill marks if desired.
  • 3. After pork chops have reached an internal temperature of about 155 degrees with thermometer, remove to platter and cover with foil and allow to sit for 8 to 10 minutes to redistribute juices. Serve with your favorite side items.

1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon ginger, peeled and minced
1 tablespoon sesame oil
4 pork chops, 1 inch thick

Steps:

  • Combine marinade ingredients (soy sauce - sesame oil) in a bowl or marinating dish.
  • Add pork chops turning to coat well. Refrigerate for at least six hours, turning occasionally.
  • Remove chops from marinade, reserving marinade.
  • Grill chops over high heat for 8-10 minutes per side (or until done), basting with marinade.
  • ***To Freeze: place chops and marinade in a freezer bag. Seal, label and freeze. To serve: Thaw overnight in the fridge and then grill as directed.***.

6 boneless pork loin chops, trimmed of fat

Steps:

  • Mix water, soy sauce, vegetable oil, lemon pepper seasoning, and minced garlic in a deep bowl; add pork chops and marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Remove pork chops from the marinade and shake off excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
