WEB Oct 14, 2019 #1. Hi Dave, just food for thought. I fought a charging problem on my '54 NAA for a couple of years. Had the generator rebuilt, went through 3 voltage regulators. Finally gave up and converted to 12 volts. I'm very happy with it now. I think the problem is the voltage regulators being made somewhere have no quality control.
