Steps:
- PLACE juice in medium bowl. Add strawberry gelatin; stir until dissolved. Add strawberries.
- PLACE Flipz in bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
- MIX cream cheese and sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy; fold in whipped topping. Spread on top of pretzels making sure that cream cheese mixture touches all four sides of the dish. Gently spoon gelatin mixture over cream cheese layer.
- REFRIGERATE for 1 hour or until gelatin mixture is firm.

Steps:
- Spray 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray.
- Mix sugar, pretzels and melted butter in the 9 x 13 pan. Press lightly and bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
- Set aside to cool.
- Mix together cream cheese and powdered sugar.
- Add cool whip and fold in marshmallows.
- Spread on the crust mixture.
- Dissolve jello in boiling water and stir in the strawberries.
- Chill until slightly thickened.
- Spread over top of dish.
- Chill overnight.

MAKEOVER STRAWBERRY PRETZEL DESSERT
This has been a family favorite recipe for many years. I believe it was one of the first recipes I made when I first got married 24 years ago. I was so happy to come across a low-fat version in a Light and Tasty magazine.

Steps:
- In a bowl, combine the pretzels, margarine and 3 Tablespoons sugar.
- Press onto the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes or until set.
- Cool on a wire rack.
- In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar substitute and remaining sugar until smooth.
- Fold in whipped topping.
- Spread over cooled crust.
- Refrigerate until chilled.
- Drain pineapple, reserving juice; set pineapple aside.
- Add water to pineapple juice if necessary to measure 1 cup; pour into a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Pour into a large bowl, stir in gelatin until dissolved.
- Drain strawberries, reserving juice; set strawberries aside.
- Add water to strawberry juice if necessary to measure 1 1/2 cups; stir into gelatin mixture.
- Refrigerate until partially set.
- Stir in reserved pineapple and strawberries.
- Carefully spoon over filling.
- Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or until firm.
- This recipe was tested with Parkay Light stick margarine and Splenda No Calorie Sweetener.
STRAWBERRY PRETZEL DESSERT

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix crushed pretzels, butter, and 1/2 C sugar. Pat into 9"x13" baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Beat cream cheese, 1 C sugar, and Cool Whip together and spread on top of pretzel crust. Dissolve jello in 2 C boiling water. Add strawberries; chill until slightly set. Pour the jello mixture over the cream cheese mixture. Chill until hard.
BUTTERSCOTCH PRETZEL DESSERT
This dessert is for those who are watching our weight but need some sweets occasionally. Only 4 WW points. Cook time also includes refrigeration time.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Reserve 2 tablespoons crushed pretzels.
- In a medium bowl, combine remaining crushed pretzels, 2 tablespoons Splenda, and melted margarine.
- Press mixture evenly into an 8x8-inch baking dish.
- Bake for 12 minutes.
- Place baking dish on a wire rack and allow to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine dry pudding mix, dry milk powder and water.
- Mix well, using a wire whisk.
- Pour pudding mixture evenly over cooled crust.
- Refrigerate while preparing topping: In a medium bowl, stir cream cheese with a spoon until soft.
- Add remaining 2 tablespoons Splenda, milk, and peanut butter.
- Mix well using a wire whisk.
- Blend in Cool Whip Lite carefully with large spoon or spatula.
- Spread topping mixture evenly over set filling layer.
- Evenly sprinkle reserved 2 tablespoons pretzel crumbs over top.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- For the crust, mix the pretzels, butter and 3 TBL sugar. Press into 9 x 13 pan and bake for 7 minutes. Set aside and let it cool.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and 3/4 cup sugar. Fold in the whipped topping, and spread over the cooled crust. Refrigerate till well chilled.
- In a mixing bowl dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water, and allow to cool slightly. Add the strawberries and pineapple and pour over the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate till serving time.
