- Stir in the Bartlett pears, pineapple, celery, and pecans. Transfer to a serving bowl; cover and chill salad 4 to 24 hours.

Steps:
- Pulse the cranberries in a food processor until fine and no large pieces remain. Transfer to a large mixing bowl and stir in the sugar. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to overnight.
- Drain any accumulated juices from the cranberries and reserve for another use, and then stir in the marshmallows and drained pineapple and set aside.
- Whip the heavy cream in a large mixing bowl until it begins to thicken, about 1 minute, and then beat in the powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form, 3 to 5 minutes. Fold the whipped cream into the cranberry mixture, one third at a time, until fully incorporated. Transfer to an 8-by-8-inch baking dish.
- Refrigerate or freeze for about 2 hours. Right before serving, garnish with the pomegranate seeds.
ANNA'S OLD FASHIONED CRANBERRY SALAD
I got this recipe from my mother who got it in 1947 from a older friend of hers. Although I've tried a lot of cranberry salads, I always come home to this one. Great for Christmas

BEST EVER CRANBERRY SALAD
This recipes was orginally my DH's Grandmothers and has been tweaked by my MIL. I didn't care for cranberry salad ever till I tried this. I have been making this for years now. Its more of a Jello than a salad. Great to get kids to eat something different. It's definitely something I look forward to eating every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Great on biscuits and rolls. I make this in a large glass decorative bowl because it doesn't look good if you try to transfer it to another dish for the meals. ** Note this is best if made the night before to give time for proper set. I have a lower sugar version posted also. Suggested serving size is about 3 tablespoons.

GREEK CRANBERRY SALAD
This recipe came from my mother. It is easy to make and looks/tastes incredible. You can use any kind of salad greens that you like, and you can substitute blue cheese for the feta if you prefer. I thought I would never have a recipe to share, since I get most of my new recipes from Zaar!

Steps:
- Make the sugared nuts. In a skillet, cook and stir the pecans in the butter until toasted - about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in 1/4 cup of sugar. Set aside to cool.
- Prepare the dressing. Pour the red wine vinegar, vegetable oil, parsley, garlic powder, 1 T of sugar, oregano, salt and pepper into a blender. Blend well until the ingredients are combined and the parsely is well processed.
- Toss the greens, sugared nuts, cranberries, onions, and cheese with the dressing. The dressing is pretty powerful, so use sparingly and adjust to taste. I found the proportions as listed to be just about right for our taste, but you may prefer less dressing.
- Serve immediately.

NANA'S CRANBERRY SALAD
This recipe is my Great Grandmother's...It has been in our family for many many years. The celery and walnuts add great texture and flavor. The preparation can be done in between other tasks and it's definitely worth it and not your plain old cranberry sauce! Sometimes I make this throughout the year and freeze it in individual containers for a fantastic breakfast. It freezes very well.
