Steps:
- In large mixing bowl,mix sweet potatoes,sugar,eggs,margarine,milk and vanilla.
- Pour into 9 inch square greased baking dish.
- Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over potatoes.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes .
- Can be doubled and baked in 9x13 dish.

ELVIS' FAVORITE SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE
This is from my "Recipes from Graceland" cookbook that I got this summer. This is typical Elvis.

Steps:
- cook sweet potatoes, peel and mash.
- In a large mixing bowl, blend sweet potatoes, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and a pinch of salt.
- Stir in eggs and milk.
- Pour into a square baking dish.
- Bake at 375°F for 35 minutes.
- Remove from oven.
- Top with pecans and marshmallows and return to oven for 5 minutes or until marshmallows are puffed and browned.
SYLVIA'S SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE
This was my mother-in-law's recipe handed down to my wife. She has made this every Thanksgiving and Christmas for 35+ years.

Steps:
- Mix first seven ingredients together.
- Pour into greased 2 quart casserole dish.
- Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.
- TOPPING.
- Combine sugar, flour, margarine and pecans.
- Spoon over top of hot casserole.
- Sprinkle marshmallows on top of everything.
- Bake an additional 10 minutes.

MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE
This delicious sweet potato dish is a huge hit at our family Thanksgiving and Christmas get togethers. I can't go through my sister's door without this in hand. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do! Preparation time does not include the time to bake the sweet potatoes.

Steps:
- To cook the sweet potatoes, I bake them completely and then let them cool. This usually takes about an hour at 350 degrees.
- After they are cool enough to touch, I cut open the sweet potatoes and scoop out the insides. I scoop them right into the bowl for my mixer.
- Add the butter, eggs, sugar, nutmeg, vanilla, and evaporated milk and mix together.
- Cook in a 13 x 9 pan at 450 degrees for 15 minutes.
- For the topping I put the chopped pecans, cornflakes, brown sugar, and melted butter in a gallon size baggie. I close the baggie and mix the ingredients together. (This also crushes the cornflakes at the same time.).
- Pour the topping over the sweet potato mixture and bake at 400 degrees until bubbly. This usually takes 15-20 minutes.

- Spread the peanut butter on one side of one slice of bread. Top with sliced banana, then slices of cooked bacon. Cover with the other slice of bread. Spread butter on the outside of the sandwich.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Fry the sandwich on each side until golden brown and peanut butter is melted, about 4 minutes total.
