DORITOS TACO CASSEROLE
If you're looking for the ultimate comfort food for tonight's dinner - you're going to love this Doritos taco casserole! It's an amazing twist on the famous taco casserole. Truly drool-worthy, full of flavor, and will have you running back for seconds!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9 x 13 glass dish with cooking spray; set aside.
- Brown the ground beef (or turkey); drain. Add taco seasoning and water, according to package directions.
- In a large bowl, mix both kinds of Doritos and slightly crush the chips.
- In a small bowl, mix the cheddar cheese sauce and salsa together.
- Layer half the chips to the bottom of the baking dish and then layer the taco meat.
- Pour the nacho salsa sauce over the meat and then add the rest of the Doritos.
- Top with shredded cheese, cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes.
- Add toppings and serve. Enjoy!

I used pork instead of turkey, but I must say this is pretty tasty stuff. I wasn't sure about the size of the taco seasoning packet when I posted this--the recipe says to use a packet of taco seasoning mix--I mixed together my own spices instead. - Preheat oven to 350.
- In a large skillet, brown ground turkey. Add onions and corn, cooking until the onions are tender.
- Add taco seasoning and water and mix until well combined. Remove from heat and mix in sour cream and salsa.
- Using a 2 quart baking dish, layer a few handfuls of ranch tortilla chips, slightly crushed, to the bottom.
- Sprinkle half of the meat mixture over the top and sprinkle with half of the cheese. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. Top with desired toppings to serve.

- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly, breaking the meat up as it cooks, about 10 minutes. Drain excess grease and mix in taco seasoning. Stir in diced tomatoes with green chilies and ranch-style beans and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Place a large handful of tortilla chips on a serving dish and top with a ladle of the ground beef mixture. Repeat with remaining chips and meat mixture. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of shredded Mexican cheese blend on each serving.
