2 teaspoons salt
4 cups cornflakes cereal
1 ½ cups rolled oats

1 cup raisins

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Lightly grease a cookie sheet.

I poured over that magazine and decided to make something that I would call a dish pan cookie. They may have been called a buffalo chip cookie. It had oats and candy and made a huge amount. In my mind, I remember them as the best cookies ever. Does anyone have the recipe? It would have been around 1985-1990. I really can't remember the year.
