Mini-Lemon Meringue Pies. I can’t overstate this: this recipe is genius! It’s such a clever little hack for making what can be quite a complicated recipe.
Fruit Tarts. Just like you can buy mini-pastry shells for quiche, you can also buy sweetened crusts that work so well for these little fruit tarts. Although, sugar cookie shells are extra tasty, and if you use ready-made cookie dough, they’re a cinch to whip up.

Tools and Decor. Teacups and teapot. I absolutely love teacups. They are so cute and elegant at the same time, and I admit it’s not only tea I drink from it (just like with wine glasses; I am alcohol intolerant so I don’t drink wine, but I like to drink apple juice from a wine glass and pretend it’s wine… I swear I’m a functioning adult woman).
Tea ( Duh.) Now obviously, this is the most crucial part of it all. You can basically have any tea of your choice, but if you would like to stick with more traditional afternoon tea, you can choose from Assam, Darjeeling, Earl Grey and Lapsang Souchong varieties.
Milk. For traditional english tea lovers, this is the second most important thing oin the list. I was never a milky tea lover myself, so I stick with the plain ol’ leafs, but for the majority of you, I recommend Oatly’s Foamable, which is a perfect creamy plant milk to pair with tea.
Savory Finger Food. During an afternoon tea party, traditional savory finger foods, like small sandwiches and bites are served. The most popular savory food ingredient is cucumber.
Tea Cakes and Scones. Tea cakes and scones are another main food to serve with tea. They are delicious and you can pair them with any jam you like. I mostly recommend berry jams, like strawberry, raspberry or blueberry.
Other Drinks. It’s recommended to serve a few non-alcoholic drinks to your guests besides the tea. My favorites include, rose and strawberry lemonades, vegan organic sodas or berry/mint infused waters.
Champagne. Traditional afternoon tea party lovers are surely familiar with the serving of champagne. This is really an optional thing and mainly for special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries.

Preheat oven to 375°. Toast and cool, or leave bread cubes out overnight to allow them to dry out. Lightly grease four ramekins with butter. Divide the bread cubes between them. Combine milk, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and eggs in a bowl or measuring cup. Pour the custard over the bread but leave a little space at the top. Gently press the cubes down into the custard to submerge and let them rest for about 10 minutes to get fully saturated. Place on a sheet pan and bake for 30 minutes.
Break apart 2 squares of the belgian chocolate bar into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir and cook an additional 30 seconds. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Place 4 cookies on a work surface or some wax/parchment paper. Using a spoon, drizzle the melted chocolate across the cookies. Immediately sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Allow the chocolate to set up for at least 30 minutes on the counter.
Preheat oven to 375°. Unfurl one defrosted pie crust. Using a 2½" round cutter, cut 14 circles from the dough. Carefully place each circle into a mini muffin tin and gently push to the sides. Prick the bottoms with a fork. Fill each case ¾ full with marmalade, then press a fresh raspberry into the center. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
