2-3 cups of Franks Buffalo Sauce (or similar)
1 packet dry Ranch Dressing Mix

Steps:

  • Pour the hot sauce and the ranch dressing into the crock pot. Whisk together.
  • Add the chicken and submerge it in the buffalo sauce.
  • Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  • Transfer the chicken to a large bowl and shred it using two forks. This will be very easy because the chicken will be very tender. Once the chicken is shredded, stir in extra buffalo sauce from the crock pot until the chicken reaches your desired level of spiciness.

2 (10 ounce) cans chicken
2 (8 ounce) packets cream cheese
3/4 cup hot sauce (I use Frank's)
1 cup ranch dressing
2 cups mild cheddar cheese
2 loaves baguette

Steps:

  • Drain canned chicken and put in medium sauce pan.
  • Add hot sauce and cook on medium until heated throughout. My personal favorite is Frank's hot sauce.
  • Add cream cheese and stir until blended thoroughly.
  • Add ranch dressing and mix.
  • Add 1-1/2 cups of cheddar cheese and heat for a few minutes until mixed and melted.
  • Pour the dip into the crock pot and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on the top. Keep heated on low.
  • I serve on baguette that has been sliced and toasted. However, it is also tasty on corn chips.

1 lb chicken breast, bite size pieces
1 (11 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup hot sauce (like for buffalo wings)
6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded (about 1 1/2 cups)
1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
1 1/2 cups sour cream
3 cups penne, uncooked

Steps:

  • Season chicken salt and pepper and put it in the crock.
  • Add the chicken soup and hot sauce and stir.
  • Cook on low 4-6 hours or high 2-3.
  • Stir in cheeses and sour cream and turn off the crock pot.
  • Boil pasta according to package instructions, drain well and add to the chicken/sauce mixture.

1-1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast halves
3/4 cup Buffalo wing sauce
3 tablespoons butter
1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
1 package (10 ounces) hearts of romaine salad mix
1 cup julienned carrot
1 medium ripe avocado, peeled and cubed
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/2 cup blue cheese salad dressing

Steps:

  • Place chicken in a 1-1/2- or 3-qt. slow cooker. Top with wing sauce, butter and ranch dressing mix. Cook, covered, on low until thermometer inserted in chicken reads 165°, 2-1/2 to 3 hours. , Remove chicken; shred with 2 forks. Reserve 1/3 cup cooking juices; discard remaining juices. Return chicken and reserved juices to slow cooker; heat through., Add romaine salad mix to a serving dish. Top with shredded chicken, carrots, avocado and blue cheese; drizzle with blue cheese dressing. Serve immediately.

  • Rub chicken breasts with oil and place in the bottom of your slow cooker. Add all remaining ingredients and give the top a stir. It won’t seem like a lot of liquid but the chicken will produce a lot of moisture when cooked.
  • Cover and cook on high 2-4 hours or low for 5-7 hours OR until chicken is tender enough to easily shred with a fork.
  • Shred chicken when tender, return to slow cooker, and let cook on LOW for another 20 minutes to soak up some of the juices.
  • Drain chicken of excess liquid (if there is any). Top shredded chicken with cubed cream cheese and cook on HIGH for an additional 20 minutes then stir in cream cheese until chicken is evenly coated. Taste and add hot sauce to taste if desired. Serve with rice/potatoes or in sliders, sandwiches, wraps, salads, macaroni and cheese, pizza, tacos, etc.
