1 Tbsp. oil
2 lb. Brussels sprouts, trimmed, cut in half
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup KRAFT Classic Caesar Dressing
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Italian* Five Cheese Blend
1/4 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400ºF.
  • Heat oil in large ovenproof skillet on medium-high heat. Add Brussels sprouts; cook and stir 3 to 5 min. or until crisp and evenly browned. Remove from heat.
  • Bring water, dressing and garlic powder to boil in saucepan on medium heat, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Add shredded cheese; stir until melted. Add to Brussels sprouts; mix lightly. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
  • Bake 12 to 15 min. or until sauce is hot and bubbly, and top is lightly browned.

Sauteed Brussels sprouts in creamy Parmesan sauce is a delicious and easy side dish recipe that happens to be gluten free too!

750 g (1½lbs) Brussels sprouts
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves (crushed )
1 cup cream
½ cup sour cream
1 tsp lemon juice
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper (to taste )

Steps:

  • Heat a large, deep frying pan over medium heat then add the olive oil.
  • Halve the sprouts then add to the pan. Saute until golden brown and starting to char. If your sprouts are very big, you might need to add a splash of water and cover with a lid to allow them a little more time to cook.
  • Once the Brussels sprouts are fork-tender, remove from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add a teaspoon of oil and cook the garlic until fragrant.
  • Pour in the cream and sour cream then season with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Allow to simmer until the sauce coats the back of a spoon (approximately 3-5 minutes) then add the Parmesan.
  • Transfer the sprouts back to the pan and saute for a few minutes. Adjust seasoning and serve.

2 lbs fresh Brussels sprouts
1 pinch salt
black pepper
1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup newman's own parmesan and roasted garlic salad dressing
shavings parmesan cheese (to garnish)

Steps:

  • With a small knife trim the base and discard the outer layer of leaves. Score an X in the center of the base for each sprout.
  • Steam for about 5 minutes or until tender. Place cooked sprouts into a bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Blend together yogurt and dressing, then mix all ingredients and serve. Garnish with parmesan shavings.

1 medium onion, quartered and thinly sliced
3 tablespoons butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon fresh thyme or 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
3/4 cup chicken broth
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Lightly coat baking dish with non-stick spray.
  • In large skillet, cook onions and garlic in butter over medium heat until onions are soft.
  • Stir in brussels sprouts and thyme.
  • Cook for 5 minutes or until onions begin to brown.
  • Add broth and bring to a boil.
  • Cook 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally until broth is nearly evaporated.
  • Add cream and nutmeg.
  • Cook for 4 minutes or until broth begins to thicken.
  • Transfer to baking dish, stir in 1/2 cheese, salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Bake, uncovered, 20-25 minutes.

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 small shallot, chopped
1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and sliced
1 cup heavy cream
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
Kosher salt

Steps:

  • Heat the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until melted. Add the garlic and shallot and cook, stirring, until soft, about 2 minutes. Add the Brussels sprouts and stir until well coated in the butter. Add the cream, cayenne, nutmeg, 1/2 cup water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Bring to a simmer, cover and cook until the Brussels sprouts are soft, about 15 minutes. Uncover and continue to cook until they are tender and the liquid has reduced into a creamy sauce, about 10 minutes more.

1 ¼ cups heavy cream
¼ cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
1 clove garlic, minced
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 pinch ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Generously grease a 9x9-inch baking dish with butter.
  • Spread the sliced Brussels sprouts out into the prepared baking dish in an even layer. In a bowl, whisk together the cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and black pepper until thoroughly combined; pour the cream mixture over the Brussels sprouts. Sprinkle the top with nutmeg.
