CHERRY COBBLER
I've made this cherry cobbler recipe for years, adapting it to suit our taste. It's a delicious way to use lots of fruit. I hope you enjoy this tart treat! -Peggy Burdick, Burlington, Michigan

Steps:
- Drain cherries, reserving 1-1/4 cups juice; set aside. Discard remaining juice. In a large saucepan, combine the sugars, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg; stir in lemon juice and reserved cherry juice until smooth. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly., Add cherries; pour into an ungreased 9-in. square baking pan. For topping, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in enough milk to moisten. Drop by tablespoonfuls over cherries. Bake at 450° for 10-13 minutes or until golden brown.

MARINATED BLACK-EYED PEA SALAD
Steps:
- Mix the yellow and red peppers, onion, jalapeno chiles, black-eyed peas, parsley, and garlic together in a large bowl.
- Whisk the red wine vinegar and balsamic vinegar together in a small bowl. Gradually add the olive oil, whisking constantly to thoroughly blend with the vinegars. Stir in the cumin, salt, and black pepper. Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture, tossing to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours. Just before serving, stir in the crumbled bacon.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
- Mix milk, 3/4 cup sugar, baking mix, butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in a large bowl. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Mix remaining 1/2 cup sugar with cherries in a bowl. Spoon on top of the batter in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 45 to 50 minutes.

- Toss pears with lemon juice in a medium bowl. Melt butter in a large deep skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat; stir in the pears. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and cook, stirring once halfway through, for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile combine sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt in a small bowl. After 10 minutes, stir the sugar mixture into the pears. Increase the heat to medium and cook, stirring often, until the pears are tender and glazed, 4 to 6 minutes, depending on the type and firmness of the pears. Serve warm.

PEACH CHERRY COBBLER
Peach and Cherry Cobbler is an easy cobbler recipe perfect for brunch or dessert. Serve with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream!

- Lightly coat a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix sugar through kosher salt, then add fruit and toss until coated. Pour into prepared pan.
- Sift together flour through salt into a medium mixing bowl, set aside.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attached or a large mixing with an electric mixer, beat together softened butter, sugar and almond paste until fully combined, approximately 5 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing fully after each addition. Slowly, add dry ingredients.
- Spoon into 12 equal dollops over the top of fruit.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until breading is golden browned and fruit juices are dark and thick. Allow to stand for a minimum of 20 minutes before serving. Allow to cool fully before covering if serving at a later time. serve with a giant scoop of Classic Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.

- 1. (1 cup) milk (1 cup) self-rising flour (1 cup) sugar (½ cup) butter (21 oz) cherry pie filling Method Best Cherry Cobbler Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in casserole dish (or the dish you use to bake the cobbler). In a separate bowl, mix together the milk, flour, and sugar. Pour the mixture into the dish with the butter, don't stir. Then add the pie filling again, not stirring, but do take a fork and move the filling around, just to disperse the mixture. Bake for 1 hour.
CHERRY COBBLER
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 ̊. Butter a 12-inch cast-iron skillet.
- Whisk 1 cup sugar, the flour and milk in a medium bowl. Whisk in the melted butter. Pour the batter into the skillet and sprinkle the cherries evenly over the top. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar over the cherries.
- Bake until golden brown on top and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean, about 50 minutes, sprinkling the remaining 2 teaspoons sugar over the top during the last 10 minutes. Let cool 20 minutes. Serve warm, topped with whipped cream or ice cream...or both!
QUICK 'N EASY CHERRY PECAN COBBLER
Dessert in a flash with the ease of canned cherry pie filling. Other fruit fillings can be substituted. Luscious!

COPYCAT HARDEES PEACH COBBLER
A woman at my church passed this recipe on. Super easy, looks very nice, and my favorite recipe for peach cobbler. I usually use homemade peach pie filling.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Spread the pie filling into a square baking pan.
- Put the slices of butter on top of the pie filling, placing them as evenly as possible.
- Carefully remove the pie crust from the pan it is in, and place it carefully on top of the pie filling and butter. You will need to cut off the edges that hang over and make them fit on the square pan.
- Sprinkle liberally with cinnamon and sugar. Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes, until pie crust is lightly browned.
- Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
