The Coke tenderizes the meat. Once mixture has simmered down it will make a barbecue like sauce that is sensational and the pork chops will be so tender, they'll practically fall apart.

6 -8 pork chops
12 -16 ounces Coke
1 large onion
3 tablespoons prepared mustard
6 tablespoons ketchup
1 dash pepper
1 can sliced mushroom (, or fresh)
1 dash garlic powder

Steps:

  • Brown the pork chops on both sides and drain.
  • Remove from pan.
  • Slice onions and fry lightly.
  • Remove from pan.
  • Pour Coke and other ingredients in the skillet.
  • Add pork chops and onions back into the skillet.
  • Simmer on low with a lid for 30-45 minutes until liquid is evaporated and a thickened sauce has formed.

1 (12 ounce) can Coca-Cola
1 cup ketchup
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
pepper

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine Coca-Cola, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Dip each pork chop in mixture, coating both sides. Lay in a single layer on a baking pan. Pour Coca mixture over each chop. Cover pan with foil and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Place pork chops in a 9 x 13 glass baking dish
  • Measure out Heinz ketchup, and coca cola, SLOWLY add coca cola to ketchup, using a small whisk, stir together and pour over pork chops, lifting up each pork chop to make sure the sauce mixture gets underneath each piece and cover with aluminum foil. place dish in oven and bake for one hour.
