1 package (7 oz) spaghetti
1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1 can (14.5 oz) Muir Glen™ organic diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (19 oz) Progresso™ red kidney beans, undrained
1 can (8 oz) Muir Glen™ organic tomato sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (5 oz)

Steps:

  • Cook spaghetti as directed on package. Meanwhile, in 3-quart saucepan, cook beef and onion over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown and onion is tender; drain.
  • Stir in tomatoes, beans, tomato sauce, chili powder and salt. Cook uncovered over medium heat about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until as thick as you'd like.
  • Drain spaghetti; divide among dinner plates. Top with beef mixture; sprinkle with cheese.

3 cups rigatoni pasta, uncooked
1 lb. extra-lean ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 large zucchini, coarsely chopped
1 cup fresh corn kernels
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 large tomato, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa
3/4 cup KRAFT Shredded Triple Cheddar Cheese with a TOUCH OF PHILADELPHIA, divided

Steps:

  • Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
  • Meanwhile, brown meat with onions and garlic in large skillet. Add zucchini, corn and chili powder; cook 7 min. or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in tomatoes and salsa; cook 3 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
  • Drain pasta. Add to meat mixture; mix lightly. Stir in 1/2 cup cheese. Serve topped with remaining cheese.

2 1/2 cups uncooked rotini pasta (8 oz)
1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1 can (11.25 oz) condensed fiesta chili beef with beans soup
1 jar (8 oz) salsa (1 cup)
1/2 cup water
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)

Steps:

  • Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
  • Meanwhile, in 12-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Reduce heat to medium. Stir soup, salsa and water into beef. Cook until thoroughly heated.
  • Serve beef mixture over pasta. Sprinkle with cheese.

1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
2 tablespoons chili powder
½ teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
½ cup water
salt and pepper to taste
16 ounces dry ziti pasta
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • In a medium pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef, onion and garlic until the meat is no longer pink; drain fat.
  • Pour in tomato sauce, chili powder, oregano and cinnamon; mix thoroughly. Pour in kidney beans and water; stir well. Salt and pepper to taste. Simmer on low for 30 minutes.
  • Bring a medium pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Pour in the ziti pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  • Serve the chili over the ziti and top with cheddar cheese.

1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 cups tomato juice
2 cups water
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1 teaspoon sugar
8 ounces uncooked gluten-free spiral pasta
Chopped tomatoes and minced fresh oregano, optional

Steps:

  • In a Dutch oven, cook beef over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles; drain. Stir in seasonings., Add tomato juice, water, tomato paste and sugar to pan; bring to a boil. Stir in pasta. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 20-22 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally. If desired, top with tomatoes and oregano.

This very easy recipe uses two pans and has 'pantry' written all over it. It tastes like what you would expect if Hormel® and Chef Boyardee® shared a kitchen. Perfect for kids. Substitute the cavatappi with any full-bodied pasta, such as bow-tie, wagon-wheel, or mostaccioli. You can even sneak in some frozen corn for a little tex-mex feel. Top it with cheese when serving.

2 quarts water
¼ teaspoon sea salt
1 (8 ounce) package cavatappi pasta
1 teaspoon olive oil
¼ cup finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 pound ground beef
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
½ teaspoon ground cumin
1 (15 ounce) can seasoned black beans, undrained
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Bring water to a boil in a large pot; add salt. Pour cavatappi into the boiling water and cook until tender but firm to the bite, 10 to 12 minutes; drain and rinse cavatappi.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat; cook and stir onion and garlic in the hot oil until onion is softened and transparent, 5 to 10 minutes. Increase heat to medium-high and stir ground beef into onion mixture. Cook and stir until ground beef is browned and crumbly, 5 to 10 minutes. Drain excess grease and return skillet to heat.
  • Mix tomato sauce, chili powder, and cumin into ground beef mixture; cook, stirring occasionally, until tomato sauce is heated through, about 3 minutes. Stir cavatappi into meat sauce until evenly coated; add black beans and pepper. Cook and stir over medium-low heat until flavors have blended, about 5 minutes.
