CHEESE BALL RECIPE WITH BACON & WALNUTS
This cheese ball recipe with bacon and walnuts is so easy and quick, and the variations are practically endless!

Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine cream cheese and shredded cheeses with your hands or a strong, sturdy spoon. (Using your hands is really much easier, in my opinion.)
- Add in the Worcestershire sauce and green onions and mix together with your hands until well incorporated, forming into a ball as you go. Cover and refrigerate for about an hour.
- Add crumbled bacon and walnuts to a large plate and mix together. Place the cheese ball in the center of the plate and begin to cover the ball with the walnut and bacon pieces. I like to gather the nuts and bacon up over the sides of the ball and press gently but firmly so the pieces stay. Continue rolling the ball around and adding the nuts and bacon until the entire ball is covered.
- Store covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve (up to 4 days).

Steps:
- Mix all items together except the additional 1 cup of cheddar cheese that you will use to roll the ball inches.
- With a spoon pull mixture toward middle of the bowl and try to form a ball.
- Then cover and place in refrigerator until chilled and firm.
- After it has chilled, it will be easier to work with.
- Roll the cheese mixture into a ball and roll in additional cup of grated cheddar cheese.
- Roll until all sides are coated and press the cheese into the ball.

CHEDDAR HORSERADISH CHEESE BALL
Steps:
- 1. Mix both of the cheeses, the onion, horseradish, 1 of the tablespoon parsley, Worcestershire, salt to taste and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in a medium bowl until evenly combined. Form the cheese mixture into a ball, cover with plastic wrap and chill until firm and the flavors have blended, at least 4 hours or overnight.
- 2. Remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator up to 30 minutes before serving. Cook the bacon in skillet until crisp, transfer to a paper towel, and when cool crumble. Mix the bacon with the nuts and remaining tablespoon parsley in a shallow bowl. Roll the cheese ball in the mixture so that it is coated evenly. Serve with vegetables and crackers.

Steps:
- Take 2 packages of cream cheese (softened) and mix till slightly whipped.
- Add packet of ranch dressing and mix till incorporated.
- Fold in 1 cup shredded cheese.
- Pour bacon bits in a plate or pie tin.
- Form cream cheese mixture into a ball with your hands.
- Roll ball in bacon bits till covered. Wrap cheese ball in plastic wrap and place in the fridge.
- When cheese ball feels firm, remove and serve with crackers.

- Soak the cranberries in the sherry for 10 minutes.
- In a food processor, process the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and Worcestershire together until smooth.
- Stir in the cranberries and sherry.
- Place the cheese on a piece of plastic wrap and form into a 1-inch log or a ball.
- Combine the walnuts and parsley in a small bowl, pat over the cheese log or ball and roll until it is completely covered.
- Do-ahead--at this point, refrigerate for at least 4 hours and up to 1 week to let the flavors develop, or freeze for up to 6 weeks.
- Defrost in the refrigerator overnight and bring to room temperature before serving.
