CANDY BAR COOKIE POPS
Turn five food ingredients into chocolaty cookie pops with real kid appeal.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick cookie sheet). Line cookie sheet with foil. Cut each candy bar in half crosswise. Poke craft stick into side of each.
- In large bowl, mix cake mix, oil and egg with spoon until dough forms. For each cookie pop, form 1 rounded tablespoonful of dough into a ball; flatten in palm of hand, and place candy on top. Form dough around candy, sealing well. Roll in powdered sugar to cover completely. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
- Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until set. Cookie will appear moist in the cracks. Let cool on cookie sheet 2 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

ULTIMATE CANDY BAR COOKIES

- Preheat oven to 375°. Place Butterfinger candy bars in a food processor; process until ground. In a large bowl, cream butter and 2 cups ground candy bars until blended. Beat in eggs. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture., Shape into 1-in. balls; roll in remaining ground candy bars. Place 2 in. apart on parchment-lined baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until tops are cracked., Immediately press a piece of candy into the center of each cookie. Cool on pans 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool. Freeze option: Freeze cookies, layered between waxed paper, in freezer containers. To use, thaw before serving.

I found this recipe in the Pillsbury's Cookie Book. They're great! If you're looking for a cookie this cookie is huge and is just about a meal in itself.

Steps:
- In large bowl, combine sugars, butter, peanut butter, vanilla and eggs.
- Beat well.
- Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
- Mix well.
- Shape about 1/4 cup of dough smoothly around candy bar making sure bar is completely covered.
- Place 4 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375°F for 13-14 minutes or until light golden brown and puffy.
- Cool 10 minutes and remove from cookie sheets.
- Makes 20 HUGE cookies.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2. Cream together the butter and the sugars until fluffy, beat in the eggs and vanilla. Add the flour with the baking powder and salt mixed inches Stir until blended. Fold in gently the chopped candy bars. If desired, add a cup of chopped almonds, walnuts, pecans or other nut.
- 3. Drop on a cookie sheet in the size you wish and bake until edges are browned nicely in the middle of the oven (ten minutes or less). Transfer to a cooling rack. From here they disappeared so I can't tell you shelf life but assume these will freeze nicely and ship well.
