My Italian friends love this. Cin-Cin (pronouned Chin-Chin)Roberto and Gisella! Make this drink in the proportions listed (1/3 Campari and 2/3 OJ) with regard to the glass you're using. Hope you know what I mean.

1/3 cup campari
2/3 cup orange juice, chilled
ice cube

Steps:

  • In a tall Tom Collins style glass, blend 1/3 Campari with 2/3 chilled orange juice over ice cubes.
  • Garnish with an orange slice.
  • Cin-Cin.

3 cups fresh grapefruit juice (from about 4 large grapefruits), strained and chilled
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup Campari, chilled

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine the grapefruit juice and sugar, and blend until the sugar is dissolved. Add the Campari, pour the mixture into the container of an ice cream machine, and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions. Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.

300 ml lime juice, freshly squeezed
700 ml water
300 g sugar
200 g pomelo fruit
3 whole limes, frozen

Steps:

  • Boil sugar, lime juice and water.
  • cool & pour mixture into ice cream maker and let it run for 20mins.
  • when it is ready, transfer it into container, fold in pomelo and fill it into mould in the shape of the lime.
  • put it into freezer.
  • to serve, take out sherbet from the mould & place on top of frozen whole lime.

2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup water
3 oranges, zest of (blood oranges)
1 cup freshly squeezed blood orange juice
3 tablespoons campari

Steps:

  • Combine the sugar and water in a 1-quart saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  • Add in the zest; set syrup aside to cool.
  • Mix the syrup with the juice; strain the juice (if you prefer), or leave in the pulp.
  • Add in Campare; mix well.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and cool in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Freeze in ice cream machine according to manufacturer's directions.
