BROCCOLI IN WINE

Broccoli in Wine image

California is a mix of city people, seamen and wine makers. Just a short drive from San Francisco is wine country, Sonoma County. Not only is it breathtakingly beautiful, it produces some of the finest American wines. While visiting the area, the Foppiano family prepared a feast of wild pork, broccoli in wine and much more. Kevin Brauch, The Thirsty Traveler

ONE-POT CHICKEN BROCCOLI IN WHITE WINE SAUCE

One-Pot Chicken Broccoli in White Wine Sauce image

A quick, easy and delicious one-pan chicken and broccoli dish that I like to serve over a bed of brown rice or mashed potatoes and sprinkled with fresh snipped parsley. Wonderful! I've been making this for my family and friends for over thirty years, now. Hope you enjoy as much as we do! P.S. For an extra yummy indulgence, drizzle my Easy Cheese Sauce recipe #271092 over the broccoli. Yum :-)

  • Cover and continue cooking another 10-12 minutes or until broccoli is done to your liking.
  • Sprinkle finished dish with the reserved parsley, and serve with white wine sauce and fresh lemon wedges.

BRAISED BROCCOLI WITH GARLIC, ANCHOVIES & WINE

Braised Broccoli with Garlic, Anchovies & Wine image

This recipe is from a great cookbook "How to cook everything" by Mark Bittman. I like to cook the broccoli for about 2 minutes less time so it is still very crisp and I serve it at room temperature. The recipe called of only 1 tsp of minced garlic but I love that garlic. Don't be afraid of the anchovies just think how good they are in a Caesar salad!!

BROCCOLI WITH GARLIC AND WHITE WINE

Broccoli With Garlic and White Wine image
