Braised Beef Short Ribs with Root Vegetable Ragoût image

Categories     Beef     Vegetable     Braise     Marinate     Red Wine     Winter     Thyme     Gourmet

Yield Serves 4

1 medium carrot
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
