⅓ cup soy sauce
½ teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon seasoned salt

2 pounds thick cut pork chops or steaks

Steps:

  • In a shallow glass dish, stir together the lemonade concentrate, soy sauce, celery salt, seasoned salt, and garlic powder. Place steaks in the mixture, cover, and marinate overnight in the refrigerator.

1 tbsp garlic powder
3 tbsp lemon juice, divided
4 pork chops, 1/2" thick boneless chops - NOT extra thick or super thin
1 tsp celtic sea salt
1 tsp fresh cracked pepper
3 tbsp butter or olive oil
1/2 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
10 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp parsley, fresh cut, to garnish

Steps:

  • Add lemon juice, 2 tbsp olive oil, garlic powder, pork chops, salt, and pepper to a ziploc bag and marinate for at least 3 hours, and up to overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Pat pork chops with paper towel to completely dry from any moisture from marinade.
  • Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Heat a heavy cast iron pan (or oven-safe heavy pan) on medium high until very hot.
  • Add butter or olive oil until melted and foamy or light and shimmery.
  • Add in pork chops, without crowding the pan.
  • Cook until browned on one side - about 3 minutes.
  • Add garlic, lemon slices, lemon juice to pan as you sear the other side.
  • As pork chops brown on the other side, stir garlic slightly and ladle butter/oil, lemon juice, and garlic from pan over the pork.
  • When chops are browned on both sides, transfer to oven and cook until internal temperature reaches 145-150 degrees, about 25 minutes for a thick pork chop.
  • For thin pork chops, only 5-10 minutes in oven might be needed. Use thermometer to gauge how close your pork is to being fully cooked since chops can vary so much!
  • If you go by the older guidelines, it used to be 160 degrees, but the USDA now says 145 is good. Note that pork can still sometimes look a touch pink even when fully cooked, so go by the temperature.
  • Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

1 lemon
¾ cup ketchup
¼ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon white wine vinegar

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown pork chops on both sides. Remove chops and place them in a shallow baking dish.

4 pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 dash cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup flour
1/2 tablespoon cooking oil
4 slices lemons
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar

Steps:

  • Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder and flour together.
  • Dredge the pork chops in this mixture.
  • Brown the pork chops on both sides in the cooking oil.
  • Arrange the pork chops in a 8x8 baking dish and place a lemon slice on each.
  • Mix the catsup, water and brown sugar together and pour over the pork chops.
  • Bake(uncovered) in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour until done. Add a small amount of water, if needed, toward the end of baking period.

3 garlic cloves , crushed
small handful flat-leaf parsley , chopped
½ tsp fennel seeds , roughly chopped
zest and juice 1 lemon , plus 1 lemon, quartered

4 boneless center cut pork chops (about 1" thick)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (or other high-heat oil like canola)
1 tablespoon fresh chopped oregano (or 1 teaspoon dried)
1 tablespoon fresh thyme (or 1 teaspoon dried)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 lemon (zested and cut into wedges)
1/2 cup dry white wine (such as sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, or pinot grigio)
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 tablespoon butter

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F and place an oven rack in the center. Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel and season evenly on all sides with the kosher salt (1 teaspoon) and black pepper (1/2 teaspoon).
  • Heat an oven-safe skillet on high or medium-high heat, depending on your burners, until very hot. This will take only 30 seconds or so with stainless steel, but up to 5 minutes with cast iron. (to test, you shouldn't be able to hold your hand a couple inches over the skillet's surface for more than a few seconds.)
  • Add the oil (2 tablespoons) and swirl to coat the bottom of the pan (or use a spatula to evenly distribute it). Add the pork chops to the skillet and allow to sear, undisturbed, for 2 minutes. While they are searing, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of the fresh oregano and thyme (or less than 1/2 teaspoon if using dried), once minced clove of garlic, and half the lemon zest on the top side of the pork chops.
  • Turn off the heat on the burner and flip the pork chops. (Tip: they should release easily from the bottom of the skillet- if they don't, they may need more time searing.) With the seared side facing up, sprinkle the remainder of the fresh herbs, minced garlic, and lemon zest on top of the pork chops. Place the lemon wedges in the spaces around the pork chops. Slide skillet onto center oven rack and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until internal temperature is 145 degrees F (cooking time will vary depending on thickness and oven temperature).
  • Remove pork chops to a plate or cutting board and allow to rest for 5 minutes (tent with foil if resting for longer than that to keep them warm).

3 large lemons, cut in 1/8ths
2/3 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup brown sugar

1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic
1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon thyme
6 pork chops (rib or 1st cut preferred)
1 cup flour, for dredging

Steps:

  • In a food processor, combine the lemons (rind & seeds too -- EVERYTHING), sugar and 1 cup water -- process until liquified.
  • Strain the mixture.
  • Place the lemon mixture & remaining ingredients, (except the chops & the flour) in a large stainless steel saucepan.
  • Simmer for 1 hour on medium, stirring often, being careful not to burn.
  • Remove from heat & set aside to cool.
  • Preheat oven to 325°.
  • Dredge chops in the seasoned flour.
  • Brown chops in olive oil over med.-high heat until golden brown -- cook in batches, if need be.
  • Place chops in roaster & pour lemonade sauce over.
  • Cover roaster & place in oven.

1kg Maris Piper potato , cut into large, even pieces
6 garlic cloves , left in their skins
2 lemons , 1 zested, both cut into wedges
¼ tsp dried oregano
75g pitted black olives
4 pork chops
100g bag baby spinach

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Pour the oil into a roasting tin and put in the oven to heat. Put the potatoes, garlic and half the lemon wedges into a large pan. Cover with cold salted water and bring to the boil, then simmer for 10 mins. Drain the potatoes, discarding the lemon and garlic. Toss the potatoes with the lemon zest, oregano and seasoning, then carefully transfer to the hot oil in the roasting tin and roast for 30 mins.
  • Meanwhile, finely chop the olives in a small food processor with some pepper. Press the olives onto both sides of the pork chops, then add the chops to the roasting tin and cook for a further 15-20 mins. Just before serving, heat a dry frying pan until very hot. Tip in the spinach, cook for 20 seconds or so until wilted, then set aside in a colander to drain. Season, then serve with the pork, potatoes and remaining lemon wedges.
