12 ounces uncooked penne pasta
13 bacon strips
1-1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
3 tablespoons butter
6 green onions, chopped
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
4 cups 2% milk
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1-1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1-1/2 cups frozen peas, thawed
3/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
TOPPING:
3/4 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • Cook penne according to package directions., Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook bacon in batches over medium heat until crisp. Remove to paper towels; drain, reserving 4 teaspoons drippings. Crumble bacon and set aside., Saute chicken in butter and drippings until no longer pink. Add onions; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in flour until blended; gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in the cheeses, peas, pepper, thyme and bacon., Drain penne; add to chicken mixture and toss to coat. Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. In a small bowl, combine bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle over top. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

1 pound bacon, coarsely chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 pound dry penne pasta
¼ cup olive oil
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Place the chopped bacon and onion in a skillet over medium heat, and cook and stir until the bacon is crisp and the onion is beginning to brown, about 10 minutes.
  • While the bacon and onion are cooking, fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, stir in the penne, and return to a boil. Cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until cooked through, but is still firm to the bite, about 11 minutes. Drain pasta, transfer to a large serving bowl, and stir in the olive oil to coat the pasta.
  • Drain the bacon grease from the skillet, leaving a couple of tablespoons or to taste. Stir the cooked bacon mixture into the pasta, and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the pasta. Stir to mix in the cheese, and serve.

1 Tbsp. oil
1 tsp. minced garlic
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley, divided
1 cup CLASSICO Light Creamy Alfredo Pasta Sauce
1 jar (7 oz.) roasted red peppers, finely chopped
4 slices cooked OSCAR MAYER Bacon, crumbled
2 oz. (1/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, cubed
1/4 tsp. chipotle chile pepper powder

Steps:

  • Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt; drain.
  • Heat oil in Dutch oven or large deep skillet on medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 min.
  • Reserve 1 Tbsp. parsley for later use. Add remaining parsley to skillet along with all remaining ingredients; cook 3 to 5 min. or until Neufchatel is completely melted and pasta sauce mixture is heated through, stirring frequently.
  • Add pasta; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining parsley.

6 slices bacon, chopped

1 pound linguine
12 ounces bacon, cut crosswise into 1/2-inch slices
1 very large red onion, halved, sliced (about 6 cups)
2 large bunches Swiss chard, stemmed, chopped (about 12 cups)
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Cook linguine in large pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm to bite, stirring occasionally. Drain, reserving 1 cup pasta cooking liquid.
  • Meanwhile, cook bacon in heavy large pot over medium heat until beginning to crisp, about 10 minutes. Transfer to paper towels to drain. Drain all but 2 tablespoons bacon drippings from skillet. Add onion and saut over medium-high heat until softened, about 7 minutes. Add Swiss chard and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add pasta cooking liquid to skillet. Toss until chard is wilted and tender, about 4 minutes. Sprinkle vinegar over; cook 1 minute.
  • Add linguine and oil to sauce in pot and toss to coat. Transfer to large bowl. Sprinkle with bacon and cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

1 onion (thinly sliced)
1 clove garlic (minced)
3 small red potatoes
2 cups vegetable stock
1 cup heavy cream (or half and half)
8 oz. Penne pasta
6 oz. grated Gruyere cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Applesauce for serving

Steps:

  • Heat a large cast-iron skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add six strips of diced bacon, sliced onion, and minced garlic and cook, stirring, for 15 minutes or until the onions caramelize and the bacon is crispy. Transfer the mixture, including the bacon fat, to a plate and set aside.
  • To the skillet, add two cups of vegetable stock, a cup of heavy cream, and three diced red potatoes. Increase the heat to medium-high, bring to a gentle boil, and add 8 oz. penne pasta. Cover the pan with a lid and cook until pasta is al dente (about 12 minutes).
  • When all the liquid soaks into the pasta, remove from the heat and stir in the 6 oz. grated Gruyere cheese and the bacon and onion mixture.
  • Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve with applesauce.

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
2 slices turkey bacon, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. In a large pot boil salted water and cook pasta for 8 minutes then drain and set aside.
  • 2. In a bowl mix the milk, broth and flour and whisk until flour is dissolved. Then pour the milk mixture, garlic powder, basil, thyme, and a pinch of salt and pepper into a sauce pan sprayed with cooking spray and cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes or until milk begins to thicken. Then add the swiss cheese, and parmesan cheese and continue to stir until cheese is melted (around 3 minutes).
  • 3. In a small pan sprayed with cooking spray cook the bacon pieces over medium heat for 3-4 minutes or until crispy. Then set bacon aside on a plate lined with a paper towel.
  • 4. Combine the pasta and cheese sauce and toss well. Then top with bacon pieces and serve.
