- Combine beef, mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, milk, onions, and Worcestershire sauce in a slow cooker.

- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook fusilli in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 12 minutes. Drain. Serve stroganoff over fusilli and garnish with sour cream.

SLOW COOKER BEEF STROGANOFF
I found this recipe on allrecipes.com and I have modified a few ingredients. This is a very simple beef stroganoff made with cream cheese instead of sour cream. This recipe calls for condensed golden mushroom soup. You can use cream of mushroom soup but it lacks the flavor, consistency and color of the golden mushroom soup. Also, a 7 oz can of sliced mushrooms can be substituted for the fresh mushrooms. Leftovers are even better the next day!

- Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 5 hours.
- Stir in cream cheese just before serving.
- You can boil a 12 oz Bag of Wide Egg Noodles and combine with mixture. If you like a lot of sauce, you may just want to combine with 6 oz instead of 12 oz. Let set for 5 to 10 minutes so that noodles can soak up that wonderful sauce!

- Trim the excess fat from the chuck roast, then cut the meat into quarters. Transfer to a 6-quart slow cooker and toss with the flour, paprika, thyme, 1/2 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of pepper. Add the onion, garlic, mushrooms and broth. Cover and cook on low until the beef is fork-tender, 7 to 8 hours.
- Skim off any excess fat from the slow cooker with a ladle. Using two forks, break up the beef into bite-size pieces and keep warm.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook as the label directs. Drain and return to the pot; toss with the butter.
- Divide the noodles among bowls. Add the sour cream to the slow cooker and stir to combine. Divide the beef mixture among the bowls and top with parsley.

- Turn on the slow cooker. Season the beef. Heat the oil in a wide frying pan and add the beef in batches so as not to overcrowd the pan. Cook over a high heat until deep brown, then transfer to the slow cooker. Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook for a few mins until soft, adding more oil, if needed. Add a splash of water and scrape any bits from the bottom of the pan. Tip everything into the slow cooker.
- Add the stock to the beef, then the mustard and season. Add enough water to just cover the beef, put the lid on and cook on Low for 6-8 hrs or High for 5-6 hrs.
- About 30 mins before serving, melt the butter in a frying pan and cook the mushrooms until soft and caramelised. Tip into the slow cooker. Mix the cornflour with a little liquid from the stroganoff in the frying pan until smooth, then add about 100ml more and bring to a simmer. Once thickened, pour into the slow cooker with the sour cream. Turn to High (if not already) and cook for another 20 mins. Stir through the parsley. Serve with tagliatelle or mash, sprinkled with paprika.

- Partially freeze steak; trim fat from steak. Slice steak diagonally across the grain into 1/4 inch wide strips; cut strips into 2 inch pieces.
- Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot. Add steak strips, sliced mushrooms, and chopped onion; saute 6 minutes or until steak is done and mushrooms are tender. Remove steak mixture from skillet. Drain well and set aside. Wipe drippings from skillet with a paper towel.
- Combine bouillon granules and hot water, stirring well. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat, and add flour. Cook, stirring constantly with a wire whisk, 1 minute. Gradually add bouillon mixture, stirring constantly. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
- Add steak mixture to flour mixture in skillet; add sherry, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 6 minutes. Remove from heat, and let stand 30 seconds. Stir sour cream into steak mixture.
- Combine cooked noodles and minced parsley; toss mixture well. Serve steak mixture over noodles. Garnish with parsley sprigs, if desired.

- In a crock pot toss in stew meat, cream of onion soup and can of mushroom soup.
- Place lid on crock pot and cook on low for 3- 4 hours, depending on your crock pot. (Mine cooks hot so 2 - 3 hours is plenty for me, however most readers tell me it needs 3 - 4 hours for their crock pots).
- After 3 - 4 hours, when meat is cooked through, stir well and turn off crock pot.
- Prepare egg noodles according to package directions.
- Add sour cream to meat mixture just before serving.

- Grind peppercorns with cumin, fennel, and coriander seeds in a spice grinder; transfer to a slow cooker.
- Add barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Guinness®, onion, garlic, paprika, sea salt, and chili powder to the slow cooker; stir until well mixed. Add pork roast and rub sauce all over.
- Cover and cook until meat is tender and can easily be pulled apart with a fork, on Low for 12 hours. Alternatively, cook on High for 3 hours, then on Low for 4 to 5 hours.
- Remove pork and roughly shred with two forks. Return shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix with the sauce. Serve immediately or keep warm until ready to serve.

- Prepare slow cooker by greasing or spraying interior with non-stick oil. Add stew meat, then top with onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, garlic and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well mix seasonings in with meat. Add 2 cups beef broth, stir and cook covered on low for 8 hours.
- At the 8 hour mark, in a medium size bowl combine remaining 1/2 cup of beef broth with corn starch, and mix well, until all cornstarch is dissolved and incorporated into broth. Scoop out a few spoonfuls of the hot liquid from the slow cooker, and add it to the cornstarch and broth mixture, stir to combine. To that mixture add sour cream and cream cheese and mix until combined and smooth. Spoon the mixture into slow cooker, and stir to combine with ingredients in slow cooker. Place lid back onto slow cooker and allow to cook for 20 minutes.
- During that final 20 minutes cook time, cook pasta according to package directions for a dente pasta. Take care not to overcook pasta. Drain, but do not rinse pasta. Add cooked pasta to the slow cooker and gently stir to combine. Serve immediately, topped with salt and pepper to taste, and fresh parsley or thyme for garish, if desired.
